ok here you go

the ride to universal was fairly uneventful, mainly due to the fact that matt and loren were in a completely different car to camila. out of sight out of mind, right? you'd think so anyway, but they do say that distance made the heart grow fond. and that was most certainly the case with matt and camila.

the more time she spent around him, the more she was reminded that he had a girlfriend and would never truly be hers. he would never be hers to cuddle on the couch watching a horror movie. he would never be hers to kiss in the rain. he would never be hers to wake up next to. he was loren's.

as chris parked the car, camila was still mulling over the fact that matt wasn't hers. she suppressed the thoughts as the camera panned to her, nick sticking the upper half of his body through camila's open window.

"HOW ARE WE FEELING ABOUT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS LADIES?" he asked.

"i'm not a lady." chris huffed.

"i clearly wasn't addressing you then." nick retorted.

"well i'm looking forward to it!" madi smiled. "camila and i want to go on as many rides as we can!"

"yeah definitely! it'll be amazing!" as the camera turned away from madi and camila, they gave each other a look. a look that meant 'today's gonna suck if matt and loren hang around us for too long'.

they got out the car and started the walk to the gates, made entertaining only by the fact that nick was petrified of the pigeons that sat atop the fence. loren didn't hesitate to burst into fits of laughter every time she saw nick's terrified face, however camila knew that nick actually had a fear of birds, and that he was probably genuinely scared in that moment. as funny as it seemed (and don't get her wrong, it was fucking hilarious), laughing wouldn't help. she gripped nick's hand as they sped past the flock of birds. their beady eyes followed them as they walked, almost as if they were sentient beings that could sense nick's fear.

after getting into the park, they decided to go on the harry potter ride first, thanks to camila's long term obsession with the series. as they stood in the never ending queue, nick periodically bought the camera out and everyone obediently made jokes and laughed and smiled. although they were having fun, the underlying tension between camila and loren killed the mood. guilt began to settle in camila's stomach, she didn't want to ruin the trip for everyone over some boy. you she hurriedly texted madi, scared to voice her thoughts in case someone overheard.
