Keeping my promise

Jin came out of the room and Taehyung was glaring at him in suspicion
"What did she decide?" Namjoon asked

"She is calling Tae in"Jin said blankly

"I am going in " and within that he rushed towards the door

Taehyung POV:

I opened the door and saw that tiny figure sitting at the corner.

I sat on my knees in front of her .Her head was down and she was holding her head with both hands.

I touched her hand and said:" Chu ?" It was the only word that came out of my mouth instead of things that I wanted to say like 'I promise I will keep you happy" "You keep me calm whenever I am in pain"
And most of that " I asked you to marry not because I wanted to keep my dignity or ego intact but when I looked at you at that moment after realising what I meant to Jen, you were standing there you were actually always there .You should have been in my heart from the very first but I was so dumb" and much more but right at the moment the only word that came out of my mouth was Her name and Yes this name has all the love of the world for me.

She held her chin straight and looked at me but those bright eyes were all dull with tears and pain. 'Fuck Tae What have you done!' I cursed myself

"I am ready to marry you Taehyung" jisoo spoke in a deep firm tone

She called my name in a way that it felt like I was a complete stranger to her and my heartached but I kept silent and looked at her without blinking

"But one thing you should know that I am just keeping my promise to be there for you whenever you call me.
We are getting divorce once things get settled."

"I am not marrying to get divorce afterwards .I want to ..." My sentence remain incomplete

"Why is it that always Your wants? I want this and I want that you are such a self centred person that just to show the girl who ditched you .You were rrady to sacrifice your best friend? How could you ask me to keep my promise when your own girlfriend betryaed you and left you with a choice that is me ?"She pointed at herself

I didn't expect this!

"If ! If you are offended I will not force you to....."I stuttered but again I wasn't listened.

"Oh Yes Kim Taehyung I am offended and you have not just lost your girlfriend you have lost a best friend too"She gasped for air while crying.I wanted to wipe those tears.I wanted to hug her but this situation and the pain right in my chest was something I called upon myself was all my doings.

"Chu! I know you only see me as a friend .It is ok if we don't get married . I don't want to loose a friend. I just want you to be happy" I told her with glistening eyes

She wiped her tears and looked straight in my eyes

"It is too late! We are getting married Taehyung and then we will get a divorce afterwards!" Her words were like a dagger to my heart.I felt more hurt than Jennie's leave.

"Please get out of the room .I have to get ready "Jisoo said while looking at the bridal dress on the mannequin.

I stood up with all the burdens and felt speechless. I have hurt her and yes I deserve this !

Author's POV:
Taehyung came out at the venue when his mother came running towards him telling him how happy she was that her daughter in law is jisoo and how she never wanted it to be Jennie

"I didn't tell you this because I didn't want you to be sad but jennie doesn't suit you Tae! Jisoo is the best suit for our family and you .Oh she is so beautiful and courteous" she hugged him and went to greet Jisoo family thanking them and they were looking confused of course they were not here for their own daughter's wedding but when Jisoo decided and told her parents then His father told her that' it is Taehyung so they are allowing otherwise this was not happening at all .
Jisoo skipped the divorce part as It was already too much for her family about her marriage.

Jisoo came out walking at the Aisle with her father

Taehyung was looking at her without blinking.

She looks like a goddess with grace and ethereal beauty and at that moment Taehyung promised himself to make her the luckiest woman in this world.
