Chapter 7

Two days passed. Jungkook didn't go to taehyung's house these two days. Nothing else but because of the embarrassment he felt that day. And he realized that ara knew that he liked her dad. That's why jungkook didn't go to taehyung's house for the next two days.
But by the third day, jungkook couldn't help but see taehyung. Because taehyung didn't even come to college that day. Taehyung's lecture was taken by another lecturer. In general, professor kim is not absent easily. Because of that, jungkook was a little worried.

That's why he decided to go to taehyung's apartment without caring anything.

After the doorbell rang, taehyung came and opened the door. Jungkook flinched at taehyung's look. When he looks at taehyung's face, jungkook felt that something bad must have happened. Those eyes are dark, light pink lips pressed together tightly. Taehyung's face was so full of anger that it was scary to see.

"Ah jungkook, come in." Taehyung opened the door fully and jungkook entered the apartment. Jungkook's eyes went to ara who was sitting on the couch. He realized that taehyung must have scolded ara when he saw that the girl's face was pale and her eyes were filled with fear.

When jungkook went and sat next to the little girl, taehyung also closed the door, walked in and stopped in front of them.

"Did jungkook come for something important?" At that time, jungkook saw the emotionless evil professor kim he was used to seeing, not his beloved taehyung, whom he had seen for the past few days.

"I-I.. because professor didn't come to the college today.. I came to see if you are.. sick or something." When jungkook answered timidly, taehyung rubbed his forehead to calm himself down.

"I went to ara's school today. She has done a very great job. I am ashamed to say that I am a professor. I don't even remember how many children this girl has fought with in the school. This time she hit a boy. Fortunately, the child didn't suffer any major damage. Just minor injuries. She's acting like a mafia boss's daughter, not a professor's daughter." Jungkook glanced at ara as taehyung explained what had happened. Jungkook wondered if ara could be this innocent when he saw her silently staring at the ground.

"Ara must has a reason, professor.. Let's talk about this matter calmly." Jungkook spoke for ara.

"Her attitude is the biggest reason. She does everything else well except studying." Taehyung pushed his hair back and let out a long breath.

"I'll go and take a wash. You will wait for me.. right?" After a few seconds of silence, when taehyung asked, jungkook nodded. Taehyung looked at ara for the last time and went to his room, leaving jungkook and ara alone.

"Hey." After taehyung left, ara looked up at jungkook as he spoke.

"Did you beat that kid so badly to make your dad so angry?"

"A little. That stupid creature insulted me.. he even told me that my mother had left me. I got angry.. and I hit him." Jungkook's chest heaved as ara mumbled, pouting.
