The Tribrid

The doppelgänger

In 2008, you had a life back in your home town of Mystic Falls. You was a high school student, with a secret life. In the supernatural community everybody knew there was a tribrid, but nobody knew who.

Present tense:
It was your first day of highschool, you joined in junior year. Everyone smiled at you as you walked down the corridor. You walked to your first lesson and saw a girl you recognised. You remembered her face, it looked similar to a girl Klaus was after. After the lesson had finished you approached her.
"Hey, do i know you" You asked with a light smile.
"I dont think so, are you new" She said.
"Yeh sorry, im Y/N. I just thought i recognised you" You said with a small laugh.
"Im Elena" She said with a small smile.
A boy came up behind her who you also recognised. He was one of Klaus' friends in the 1920s.
"Nice to meet you, Im Stefan" He said with a small small.
"Salvatore" You said with a straight face.
"Yeh do i know you" He said with an awkward laugh.
Elena stood there awkwardly and said.
"I best get going"
She went to her friends and walked away.
"How do you know me" He asked. He stood confident. You felt embarrassed inside about how confident he was being.
"Is there a place we can speak more privately, you know vampires and such" You sniggered.
He grabbed your arm and dragged you into a classroom. You didn't fight back as you wasn't willing to kill someone on your first day of school.
"How do you know" He questioned as veins came under his eyes.
"Theres alot i know, you young vampires so brave" You laughed.
"What so your a vampire" He asked.
"You don't get to ask questions. What are you doing in mystic falls" You asked as you walked closer to him.
Stefan grabbed you and slammed you against the wall and tried to compel you. You pulled his hand of your neck and bent his fingers back and put him in the position he was just holding you in.
"Why cant you be compelled" He asked.
"The question is, why can you be compelled" You said.

"Why are you in mystic falls" You compelled him.
"I was born here"
"Why do i recognise Elena Gilberts face"
"Katherine, shes a doppelgänger"
"Is she a vampire"
"No, she's human"
"Does she know your a vampire"
"Yes"
You took your hand of his neck and stood back.
"How did you do that" He asked with fear in his eyes. His confidence slowly going.
"Im special, if we was in any other situation you would be dead but i need you alive" You said with a smirk.
"You will forget everything we talked about, we went and talked about how you knew me when you was young" You compelled him.
"Now leave" You said.

He quickly left and you followed out. You went to ring Klaus about what you had just discovered but Klaus decided to not answer the phone. You rang Elijah and shockingly he answered.
"Surprised your not daggered" You said with a laugh.
"Very funny, what do i owe the pleasure" He said.
"Klaus, where is he" You asked.
"He's learned theres a doppelgänger, hes off to find her" Elijah said.
"Well you tell him, im stood feet away from her"
"Y/N, this is serious. You better not be joking" Elijah said sternly.
"Im as serious as ever. Mystic falls highschool. Her names Elena" You said.
"I will come by your house tonight, goodbye" Elijah said.
"Bye bye" You giggled.

You walked over to Elena and said.
"Can i speak to you quickly"
"Yeh whats up" She said with a smile.
"Do you know Stefan is a vampire" You compelled her.
"No" She said. You could hear her heartbeat increasing. You looked at her neck and saw a vervain necklace. You grabbed it off her neck.
"Don't hurt me" She said with fear in her voice.
"Where do the Salvatores live" You compelled.
"In the Salvatore boarding house"
"Tonight, stay over. Make an excuse to stay over"
"Okay"
"Now forget everything we talked about"
You put her necklace back on her and she walked away. Throughout your first day you had a few good lessons you enjoyed and you became friends, with Caroline,Bonnie,Elena and Stefan. You decided that being close to Caroline would benefit you the most due to what you had heard about her so you spent most your day becoming her friend.

When you got home you was welcomed by Elijah sat on your sofa reading a book.
"Yes just let yourself in my house" You sighed.
Elijah vamp sped up to you and pushed you against the wall.
"Iv missed you" He said with a smirk.
"Me or the sex" You questioned.
"Both" He smiled.
"Does Klaus know about us" You asked.
"Id be in a box if he did" He laughed.
Elijah put his hand on your face gently and kissed you. You kissed him back and the kiss grew passionate very quickly. Both your tongues fought for dominance, which Elijah won. You jumped up and wrapped your legs around Elijahs waist whilst still being against the wall. Elijah gave your lips a small kiss before breaking it off and kissing down your neck. You lifted your neck up giving him more access to your neck. He left long kisses on your neck. You pushed him off you.
"Klaus knows where i live, i'm not risking it" You said.
"May i ask what you was doing in mystic falls high school anyway" Elijah asked.
"Decided to enrol, something to do. It gets boring" You laughed.
You sat down on your couch and Elijah followed.
"Anything else i should know about" He asked.
"Stefan Salvatore, he's a vampire. Klaus forgot to mention that back in the 1920s" You said.
"Does he know who you are" Elijah asked.
"Compulsion" You giggled.
"I don't get how you can compel vampires still" Elijah said.
"Thats a secret" You said.
You and Elijah continued talking and Klaus burst through your door.

"Iv heard you know something about the doppelgänger" Klaus said with a smirk.
"I know a-lot, also where she is right now" You said with a smirk.
"Should we go collect her" Klaus asked.
"I think i should" You said.
"No, if they figure out your a vampire they will stake you. Especially the Salvatores" Elijah said.
You looked at Klaus and smirked.
"Am i missing something" Elijah asked.
"Ad somnum" You chanted and Elijah fell to floor.
"Ill be back" You said to Klaus with a smirk and vamp sped off.
