Neteyam's Pov
Aonung and I are dating. Oh my fucking god, I am so happy right now. We have decided to just keep it between us for now. I'm a little bummed that I can't let everyone know that the amazing Aonung is my boyfriend but it's not the best timing with his dad only talking about him being chief and my dad only talking about us behaving so they let us stay.
Lo'ak, Kiri and I are meeting up with Aonung , Tsireya and Rotox to practice breathing. I don't really want to but I get to see my boyfriend so I'm going.
*Time skip to when they are all together*
Aonung's Pov
Kiri, Lo'ak and Neteyam are with us today to learn about breathing properly or something but all I can to is look at Neteyam and think about Neteyam. How his beautiful golden eyes are looking around, how his-
"Aonung why are you staring at Neteyam?" Rotox says bringing me out of my thoughts
"What?"
"You're staring at him" he exclaims making Neteyam smirk
"I-wh-no I wasn't"
"Why all the stuttering then" Tsireya questions
"I'm not stuttering I'm just looking for the right words"
Neteyam is just sitting quietly smirking and looking at me with loving eyes. He's so-so, there's no words to describe him.
"Your doing it again" Rotox points to my line of sight.
"Enough Rotox, I wasn't. Now stop interrupting Tsireya." I slightly yell out of frustration.
"Okay...so when breathing you have to breath from the bottom of your lungs" Tsireya says placing her hand on Lo'ak's lower torso. She signals for him to breath deeply. Lo'ak gets excited from Tsireya touch making Neteyam and I smirk and giggle to each other.
Once when finished teaching them how to breath properly we decided to try it out in the water. Rotox is helping Kiri, Tsireya is helping Lo'ak and I am helping Tey. The others started swimming towards our normal fishing spot so Neteyam and I went towards the reef. He took a deep breath in and swam as far as he could and for somebody who grew up in the forest, he did a good job. We arrive at the reef and see little fish swimming in and out of all the coral. It looks like a fairytale. Neteyam swims down further and picks up a pretty shell. He swims up towards the the surface and I do the same.
"This is for you" he says holding out the shell "I saw your collection of them in your room so here is another one"
"Thank you Tey" I kiss him on the cheek while taking to shell from his hand.
He smiles one of his award winning smiles just as the others swim up to us.
"I thought we were sticking together" Tsireya says in an almost mad tone.
"I didn't think it was that important, sorry"
"D-did you just apologise?! I have never heard you use manners before"
"Hey!, that's mean"
"It's true, I haven't either" Rotox adds.
"Whatever, I'm gonna head back now because I'm getting kind of tired" I say
"Yeah me two" Neteyam replies
"Okay, we won't be much longer" Tsireya says before they all dive back under.
Neteyam and I swim back to sore and walk back to my room. When we get there he lays down on my bed and faces my shell collection. I walk over and place the shell he gave me with the others. Most people think it's childish that I collect shells but he doesn't. In fact he seams to like it. I lay down on the bed beside him and wrap my arms around him.
"I love you" he says grabbing my hand and holding onto it.
"I love you too" I reply kissing him on head.
