Prologue

Dean's POV

"Whoa! She's back??"

"Yes! And she's going to study here, AGAIN!!"

"That's cool!! We finally got to see her again!"

"Guys! We have to go to the auditorium, ASAP. Dixie has a special number together with Mystique Knights!"

"OMG! The Winters Sisters will perform together?? Oh this is worth watching for!"

"Come on guys! We have to go there immediately so we can take a seat closer to the stage."

"Let's go!"

Everyone here at Elite Academy was busy gossiping about the comeback of Dixie Shamara Winters here in our school. And each and everyone was making a big fuss about it. So what if she comes back? Would she gave them chocolates straight from her world tour? Or even souvenirs they can keep? Nah. And they're just wasting their time over her.

It's not that I despise her. I don't even know her but one thing's for sure. She doesn't give a sh*t in her surroundings. She's that cold and distant, I must say.

Actually, I've heard a lot about her, straight from her sister. Yeah. Her sister, Xandara kept on telling me to meet her. I haven't gotten a chance since she's so engrossed and busy with her career. It's not that I'm eager anyway.

How does her sister knew about me? Simply because she and my younger sister, Dionne, are best of friends together with the other girl from their band named Chrizha. They always hang out in our house, and when I say always, I mean ALL the time.

And I became close to them because of that. But I spent a lot of my time studying and reading books. Yes. I'm a geek. A freakin' damn geek! It's not that I'm ashamed anyway. I'm proud of myself! Yeah. So much for the self-esteem.

Suddenly someone tapped me from the back which made me jolt in surprise. I saw Xandara smirking at me. "Now you can finally meet my sister! Good luck, Dean." She winked at me and left. She abruptly stopped and look at me over her shoulder. "Aren't you gonna come with me?" she asked and look at me.

I fixed my glasses and held the straps of my backpack tightly. Am I ready to see her in person? I shook my head dismissing the thoughts in my head. Of course, I am! Why wouldn't I be? Ugh. Now I'm having second thoughts about it.

"So.." I looked at Xandara when she finally spoke. "You're just gonna stand there and do nothing? Come on! The event was about to start." she said and pulled me by the hand. Now, I'm starting to get nervous. And why is that? I'm just meeting the sister of my sister's bestfriend. Now what am I saying?

I gasped as I saw the auditorium full of people. Whoa! They're really excited to see her, huh? I think all of the students in Elite Academy is here, which is kind of weird because it's really rare that everyone in this school will be gathered in an event. It's just her comeback, but then she managed to make every student in school watch her special number! What if she held a much bigger event? All of the people in this country will attend just to see her perform, live? Now I'm overreacting. Why am I like this?
