The Lost Wallet

I walked as the cold breeze hit my face covered with a hoodie in the large and bustling city filled with colourful blinding lights...

No matter how much the lights shown but it didn't helped in removing the darkness I felt and no matter how many people passed by...they didn't helped removing the loneliness I felt...

It feels like time turned back....

I am lonely like I used to be...

My red eyes went up to the sky filed with several dark clouds hiding the sun behind it...

'I guess it's gonna rain...'

I wondered aimlessly still glancing at the sky in daze...

It was the same day we met...

I finally decided to get over it and started walking forward with a polythene bag in my hand which had some cup noodles in them..

Guess this month I have to live on cup noddles again...

Finally after reaching at the front of my apartment door I realised I forgot my keys back at the cafe...

'How troublesome...'

I thought and started walking back to the cafe to get my keys back...

There was no one whom I can get help of...

Neither someone with whom I can spend the night with....

I am alone....

As always....

"What do you want? Why did you came back?"
A woman asked who stood at the counter.

She had brown hair and a wrinkled face but still looked beautiful...

It was my boss ms. Ruby.

"Forgot keys."
I spoke and went back to the place where I left my keys last time.

Ms. Ruby just let out a small 'oh' and went back to her work again.

'there is it'
I thought founding the key on the table infront of the window.

Though apart from my key there was another thing that caught my attention.

It was a blue wallet with a keychain of a blue and black puppy sitting obediently.

Some Customer must have forgotten it here...

I took the wallet and walked towards Ms. Ruby.

"It seems like a customer forgot there wallet"
I spoke with a neutral expression putting the wallet on the counter infront of her.

"Really..."
She mumbled glancing at the blue wallet before holding it up and opening the wallet.

She took out a card from it and read out the name out loud even though I know she didn't meant to do it.

"Athanasia de alger obelia...."

So it was the owners name...

Athanasia....

Immortal....

Her parents must adore her alot to name her like this...

"Lucas.."
The woman called me as I looked back at her with the same neutral expression.

"If you don't mind can you give this to the owner....I guess I won't be able to be here for some days..."
She spoke with a apologetic smile as a frown formed on my face.

"Really? I thought I could finally take rest"
I snapped rudely taking the wallet and stomping away from her.

"The adress is on the card!"
I heard her shout as I walked out of the cafe annoyed.

I was supposed to get a off day...but now see?

I started walking away from the cafe but before I could my eyes found the presence of a certain someone in the cafe.

Though I was unable to see her face...I did saw the strands of the platinum golden hair that certain someone had.

"Have you seen a wallet of blue colour around here!!"

I heard her shout from outside the cafe.

She is loud....

I started walking back inside the cafe to find a girl looking like the same age as me talking to Ms. Ruby.

She had shiny blonde hair and a pair of jewelled blue eyes along with her pale skin.

I never saw eyes like those....

I was in a daze glancing inside her ocean blue eyes...

I won't lie...

She was truly beautiful...

"Cas..."

"Lucas!!"

I was put back in the reality from my trance by the loud voice of my boss.

"Y-yes?"
I stuttered startled trying to get back my composure.

"Glad you're still here..."
The brown haired woman sighed as the blonde girl walked towards me with a tiredness in her eyes.

"My wallet?"
The blonde asked me with her one hand spread infront of me.

"Athanasia?"

I never knew that the lost wallet would change my life this much...

Hell...I didn't even thought I could have s life...

But it all changed when she came...

That moment I returned her wallet was the moment our fate turned and got mixed together...
