Billionaire's Redemption

Chapter 9

Christopher King's POV:

"What do you want?" I questioned looking at her. I despise her and despise her to the core. What is she even doing here? "What? Cat got your tongue? What is it that you want?

"Money, more money" she said smiling brightly. "And why would I give you the money?" I questioned interested. If she thinks she can get money out of me anymore she's nuts.

"You will have to give me the money. Hehehe otherwise you know what I can do" she answered giggling. I haven't seen her in three months and she already spent all the money she took from me the last time?

"You don't have the balls to do that" I said confidently. No... she wouldn't. I thought to myself but after seeing her smirk grow bigger, I lost all the confidence. I tried building up my confidence saying she wouldn't but somehow I already lost it. I signalled her to wait. I called one of my assistants, Soup. Well it isn't her actual name but you see she has red hair and always dresses in dresses with veggie designs. Once she wore a dress with corn and tomatoes on it and hence the name.

As soon as my assistant saw me with the elephant in the room, she immediately knew what she has to do. Once she got the money she wanted, she left winking at me and giggling. "How long are you going to encourage this Mr.King?" to which I just shrugged not knowing what is the solution to this problem.

I got back to my business once my assistant left. I turned to a fresh paper in my notepad trying to concoct how to get that Therapy house closed. Who can stay by me and help me in this mission? I badly wanted to see her cry, cry blood tears. I thought of her crying and laughed one big evil laugh which sounded like "AHAHAHA AHAHAHAH"

I got an email from my HR reminding me to attend a fun session arranged for the employees. I closed my laptop and slowly walked to the auditorium where it was happening. This had been planned for months now. This should help King's employees destress and help them be more productive.

I got to the auditorium and it was dark, pitch dark. What is wrong? Did I go the wrong auditorium? I would have gone back and checked the auditorium I have entered but, there's no way I would make it back to the door. I took out my phone wanting to turn on the flash light. I turned on the flash light and guess what I heard people outright swearing at me.

"ASSH***" "M*****F*****" "*********" and I heard one particular person on the stage encouraging people to swear more. I turned the flashlight towards the stage and the person encouraging was none other than Ms, Lily herself. What is wrong with my luck these days? I questioned myself. "Yes people you are doing great just cuss the hell out of yourselves" she kept encouraging and my employees kept cussing at me.

After 15 whole minutes of hearing people swear and with greatest encouragement from Lily, someone finally switched on the lights and the swearing stopped as soon as the lights were on. I looked around the auditorium finding people as happy as they can ever be and somehow glowing right from their noses.

My HR, Jack comes slowly walking towards me. No he isn't an old man with a stick supporting him. He is a young man in his early thirties and not a person who walks this slow. He is a runner if you ask me. He can even outrun an Olympic runner. Take it from me he can.

I looked at him searching for some kind of injury. "Jack are you fine?" I asked concerned as to what happened to him. "Ohhh nothing is wrong with me" Jack spoke as slow as he could very slowly. What is wrong with him.

"This had been specially arranged for you" he said as slowly as he could. "What?" I questioned not knowing what he was talking about. "Ofcourse, the swearing ceremony" Jack said and I looked at him as if he had grown two heads.
