Chapter 2

Finally got the chance to update, my grades are okay and passado ako, so here's an update 

Iela's POV

Nagising ako dahil sa sinag ng araw. Mabigat pa din ang katawan ko, nilalamig ng konti, and I feel extremely weak. Pagod ako kahit kakagising ko palang, I looked at the person beside me, it was Anton, sleeping soundly while holding my hand. Did he sleep here? Impossible, he went to that stupid school dance with Lizi, and why would he be here anyways? Iniwan na niya ako kagabi, ba't pa sya nandito ngayon, I saw my phone on the side table, I grabbed it and saw that it was still 6 in the morning, bumangon ako at nagising si Anton. His hair was still shrivelled "Good morning, do you need something? Do you want to- pinutol ko na agad ang dapat sasabihin niya "Go home. I don't need you"

I don't care if he never comes back or if he never talks to me. He left me last night. Wala siyang sinabi, tumayo ako at agad naman siyang umalalay sa akin.

I drove him away "kaya ko ang sarili ko, umalis ka na" he didn't say anything, and still held my body, pumasok ako sa CR at sinarado ang pinto. I locked myself in the restroom, and opened my phone. Malaki ang restroom it has a walk in closet kaya dun ako tumambay. I chatted my mom and told her na pauwiin na si Anton.

Mom: Anak please naman don't drive Vesper away, he slept there last night, mamayang hapon pa ako makakapunta diyan, may emergency sa company, your lola flew to the States earlier this morning to meet with some investors, the company is slowly being known to the public. As much as you hate it you need someone to take care of you Iela, you're still not as responsible as you thought at may sakit ka pa, nag usap kami kagabi ng mommy ni Vesper and she allowed him to stay with you since pupunta din sila ng tito mo sa Cebu.

"Why does he have to be here? Kaya ko naman ng sarili ko" I heard him knock a couple of times while calling out my name, hindi ko siya pinansin at nag basa nalang sa phone ko.

Good thing dinala ko din ang airpods ko, I got annoyed with Vesper who kept calling my name. I connected my airpods to my phone at nagpa-tugtog nalang.

After a few minutes of enjoying the music while reading I heard a loud bang. Vesper was running towards me, with tears in his eyes as he hugged me so tight. Nagulat naman ako.

"Vesper detach yourself from me" I said, hindi siya gumalaw, he just kept hugging me while sobbing.

"Quit the drama Vesper Anthonius, I'm not paying for that door you broke. Now detach yourself from me, ang sakit ng katawan ko dumagdag ka pa. Christ, you're so heavy"

I finally succeeded in detaching him from me. His cheeks were so red from crying as well as his nose.

"Damn, do you have any idea how worried I was?! Akala ko na kung napano ka dito sa banyo, I kept calling your name for 30 damn minutes tapos hindi ka man lang sasagot?! I decided to force open the door, because I thought maybe you collapsed and hit your head somewhere and then I see you chilling listening to music while doing what" kinuha niya ang phone ko "reading, akala ko na napano ka Iela!" He looked so worried and cute.

"I'd be very happy if you left and went home already, I can handle myself" I didn't feel well again, I ran to the bowl and vomited, someone was gathering my hair while I vomited my guts out. Napaupo ako sa sahig nang cr, Anton grabbed some tissues and wiped my face. He then carried me. Hindi na ako nagpa-bebe because I'm really not feeling well. At the age of 13 he's already 5'10 while I'm 5'4 ang liit ko compared to him.

He placed me on my bed, sabay taas ng kama ko. I was now in a sitting position. He called someone from the hospital's resto to bring me some porridge.

He was fixing the pillows behind me, basically helping me after that massive throw-up. I stopped his wrist, "stop, I can do it myself"
