The New Era (Repost)

chapter 2

Akuma's POV
I had been making breakfast for my brother and I when I decided to listen to the radio, but when I heard that the League of Villains had been taken down by the heroes I knew that the plan was about to start but I still had to make breakfast so I called to Shi, "hey the l.o.v. got caught!" I heard Shi laugh at the news as well and he yelled back, "finally they were horrible villains." I burst out laughing because I could tell he was still getting dressed when he shouted that, I finally finished the pancakes I was making while Shi got the mail and I hear Shi yell about something he ran into the kitchen which I scolded him about running in the house again but he shoved a letter in my face so I grabbed it and read it.
*A couple of days later*
I was getting ready to open the cafe I had made a bunch of fresh muffins as I have to replace the baked goods each day as I went to open the doors for customers I seen a couple of people waiting you see my cafe wasn't popular but I wasn't struggling with expenses either so I tend to say I'm doing good for myself.
Something kinda funny is seeing new customers as they never expect me to be as tall as I actually am and the funniest part is the doctors say I probably will grow even more which is hilarious because I'm already 6,6 and people are actually scared of me.
But I opened the door and obviously my most popular customer is Oli. She is a college student studying fashion' cause she wants to make costumes for heroes we're actually pretty good friends so I asked her as a joke.
"One caramel frappe for a tired college student." I heard her laugh when I said that. I always wondered why she was so tired. I knew it wasn't college because I've seen other kids from her class and they don't look half as tired as her. I mean not like I could just ask her about it because it's none of my business but I am concerned for her mental and physical health.
I soon realized it's closing time so I cleaned up, and kicked my half asleep customers out and swept. I was having a bad day today so I changed out of my uniform and grabbed my motorcycle and got ready for a ride. As I rode through the city I got closer to where I wanted to go and finally got to my destination and Hawks, the number two hero, was there. I sighed and was about to leave as I didn't want to deal with him because the last time we spoke it turned into a screaming match. It was the night the news was broken to me and I was in dismay over the news and he pushed me too far trying to force me to share it. I felt terrible as I was  the reason we were no longer friends. He turned and saw me. He went to say something but I already got back on my motorcycle. I went home and went straight to bed.
