Long ago near the time of death and suffering the Emperor took a women to bed. Was he in love with her it was never known but what was known is that she was strong. Her physic wasn't bad but not strong it was her spiritual power that was strong. Strong enough to speak with gods and see what can't be see. Leading the kingdom to its prime.
After that night the king made sure her ever desire was filled. Over and over again he took her as a result. Maya was born named after their partner clan. Her birth was celebrated for 3 days and nights. And she was joyful and curious what was odd is how she babbles to the air looking and smiling at things that aren't there. The emperors women explained that she has been gifted with her powers of spiritual connection.
Well of course that was the plan, years past and now she can talk and walk. As she talked clearer the kingdom was visited by two outsiders and a returning thief. Two men and a women, one of the men was tall lean ,long black hair and dark blue eyes with skin like cream silk and a black gotee. The other was shorter shoulder length blond hair. Bushy brows will bread and mustache and white skin. Finally the thief was a women from their kingdom long black hair with bangs tan like tree bark and cubby cheeks, Emerald stones on her ears.
Yes Maya remembers them very well she remembers the fall of her kingdom very well, she remembers the death of her mother very well. And if these colonizers think she's just going to stand there for it then they're wrong. It didn't matter if she was 6 she was going to do what she could. After her mother past and the fight was over Maya did what she could to help. Her father still grieving swore to keep the kingdom safe and to make strong ties so this could never happen again.
And as for the traitor and colonizers as the fairytale her father told her once. Off with their heads.
Years have past and Maya has now matured into a strong intellectual young women so did her powers ,and with that a letter was sent. Of course the kingdom of El Dorado didn't take kindly to someone landing on the shore. As there kingdom was now very modern and proud
A boat appears from the waves heading to them as they wait in the trees and the ground. With there modernized armor and wepond the clothing of the past now only needed for traditional events or royalty.
" arrodillen se, ahora!" Yelled a mighty modern liking warrior as he shoved a man wearing foreign clothing to his knees. He seemed to be sweating in so hard he could pass out. Raising his weapon ready to take action he was stopped.
" espera! No lo maten, todavía no" princess Maya orders walking out of the shadows with a sword on her belt and a book in hand. With a face so serious and menacing he couldn't stand looking at her, as he puts his head down. Looking at his clothing she can tell he comes from an English speaking country. Standing before him the man shivers at the feel of power as he looks down. As she looks around spiritual beings purr at him seeing he has a good soul and no evil intention.
"Hm look at me trespasser" she commands as her men hit him with the hilt of his weapon grabbing his hair pulling his head up.
"There we go, you must understand our ways last time we had 'visitors' let's just say it didn't go well." He trembled imagining wanting to speak but he couldn't it was like something had him weight down. That was the spiritual power she possessed.
"I'm guessing you want something or come with a message?" He shoots his head high wide eyes. "H-how did you know" his aura said it all so did his outfit. "What is the message" pointing her book towards him as the warriors hands tighten around his arms. " you better spit it out" she said her accent slipping in. "I was sent her by the snow queen! She- she invited the princess of El Dorado to the school ever after high. She wishes to negotiate- "
" princesa este diablo blanco miente debería matarlo ahora" the warrior grumbled. The messenger seemed to get what she said because he seemed like he was going to cry he just realized it's the princess.
" pondré esa idea en pausa Antonio, your snow queen you say i read much about her about her kind ways, what could she offer me?" Of course Maya knew what they could offer ,protection, and for that she was willing to give up anything.
"She said that only she said we wants to negotiate trade. I promise swear on my life. If you except then she's pay any price she wants to be partners with El Dorado! Please just please don't do what you did to the other people."
The soldiers cringed as his man was begging for his life. Cant he see that the princess already granted his safety by coming to talk to him.
" is that so... if I agree then what explain to me. Suelten lo." As she commands his release the messenger burst into tears standing up even if he's slightly taller than her, he can tell that she is not one to mess with.
" so mi compa if I except then I get anything I want." She smiles "*sniff sniff* yes your ladyship" he says trying not to cry anymore bowing.
Laughs can be heard all around him as he froze in fear ' never in my life did I ever encounter such a stealthy and powerful country that dares stand against queen snow.'
"Hey tell your queen I except and to come and get me three days before the school year. And if this is a trick me and my people are ready to destroy yours to the ground." She said with a smile and the messenger nodded over and over.
Turing to broad his boat he asked one last question and gave an answer too.
Bowing he spoke "Princess we will be back in 5 days... if I may ask what is your name?"
"Maya."
