Tanjiro's POV
What happened? I can't see, my vision is so blurry. Though... I can see a tall figure standing behind me. But, who could that be? Is that the person who saved me?
Third-Person POV
"You did good while I got here. You can rest now, leave it to me." Tomioka told Tanjiro.
"How dare you get in my way?! I have to get my revenge for what he did to me!" The demon angrily yelled at Tomioka. "If you want to protect this kid, then I'll kill the both of you!"
Rui then started to perform his blood demon art, ready to slice whatever was in the threads way.
"Water Breathing, Eleventh Form, Dead Calm..." Tomioka spoke as a large body of water started to surround him. This was able to destroy all of the threads in an instant.
"What! How is that possible?! That shouldn't matter! I will kill both of you, just you wait!" Rui tried to use his blood demon art, but Tomioka quickly walked towards him and sliced his head off.
