Hinata looked at Kageyama
"You just wanna know?"
Kageyama nodded but wasn't looking at Hinata
"Y-you didn't have to throw me!"
"S-sorry"
Hinata looked up at Kageyama
"I can't tell you" Hinata stared at Kageyama's chest
He couldn't look him in the eye
"Why not?"
"Because you wouldn't be my friend anymore!"

"What makes you say that"
Hinata looked Kageyama in the eyes
"Why are you crying?" Kageyama cupped Hinata's cheeks and wiped his tears
Hinata shook his head, grabbed Kageyama's hands, pushed them to Kageyama's chest, and ran off

"Hinata!!!!!!"

The next morning
Hinata avoided Kageyama the whole day
Kageyama tried getting Hinata to talk to him

Nothing worked
"Shoyo!!!"
Hinata looked at Noya
"Yes?"
Kageyama felt horrible
Hinata was avoiding him
Hinata went weeks on end ignoring Kageyama

"Hinata! Why won't you talk to me?"
Kageyama grabbed Hinata by the collar
Hinata didn't even look Kageyama in the eyes
"Don't ignore me Hinata"
"Please don't,"
Kageyama put Hinata down
"Please,"
Hinata didn't respond
Kageyama's heart felt like it had been smashed into millions of pieces

"Kageyama what's the matter with you?" Daichi said
"Yeah, you're not yelling at us or anything," Tanaka said
"Is it because of what happened with you and Hinata?" Suga asked

Kageyama almost teared up
He couldn't even look at them without tearing up
"Kageyama don't cry!" Suga said
"Hinata come help your teammate,"

Everyone was trying to get Kageyama to stop crying
Hinata looked at them
One piece at a time his heart would break
"Hinata! Are you just gonna stand there? Get over here!"
Hinata made him cry

It's my fault it's all my fault he'll never want to be my friend again

Those words played on a constant loop in his head
Hinata slowly walked to the bench where they were at
The same bench Kageyama threw him on
"Now you're just gonna stand here? Daichi said with tissues in his hand
"Yeah, I thought Kageyama was your friend," Noya budded in patting Kageyama's back
Hinata gripped the bottom of his shirt
"Ha, they probably aren't friends anymore" Tsukishima laughed
"Tsuki!" Yamaguchi groaned
Tsukishima rolled his eyes
Kageyama wiped his tears
He left the building Suga went after him
"Kageyama, what's the matter?"
Kageyama looked at Suga
"H-hinata is ignoring me" Kageyama's voice was shaky

"It's okay I'm sure he has a good reason he might just be confused right now"
Kageyama thought about it and dried his tears

"You want to know the last thing he said?" Kageyama questioned
Suga looked up at him
"Tell me" Suga was curious
"The last thing he said was. 'Because you wouldn't want to be my friend anymore"
Suga started to understand
Suga patted Kageyama's back
"I'll be right back, stay out here and think"

"Hinata, may I speak with you?" Suga asked
"S-sure"
They went into the storage room
"Hinata I know that avoiding Kageyama might seem good for you but in reality, you both need each other," Suga tried to explain

Hinata looked up at Suga
"I-i can't," Hinata mumbled
"Why?"

Hinata didn't know he just felt like he couldn't be with Kageyama
He's trying to get over him
"I like Kageyama... And it won't work between us one of us would end up quitting volleyball forever"
Suga didn't understand why Hinata thought this

"No, you won't? You guys love volleyball."
"But if we got together we would only focus on each other!"
Suga jumped a little

"You guys are perfect for each other, you have differences but you guys make it seem like it's easy."

Hinata looked down
"I'll think about it..." Hinata left the storage room
And that he did he thought and thought about all the possibilities that could happen, bad ones, good ones, and ones that aren't bad but could be better
