Leosagi Oneshots [ Leonardo x Yuichi Usgai ]

[♢] Detention

[ Human/High School AU ]

Leo sighed as he walked into another day of detention. He had gotten caught on his phone during a lesson, causing him to get a half hour of detention everyday for a week.

"Hey Ms. Headey," Leo mumbled, walking pass his science teacher, who happened to be the detention teacher as well.

He plopped down in his seat; the third one from the front. Leo grabbed his airpods out of the pocket of his sweatpants, then turned them on and put one in his ear, taking the black scrunchie out of his hair, letting his blonde locs cover his ears. He unlocked his phone and started playing some music, zoning out while lip-syncing the lyrics to 'Dead Girl Walking'.

"..Dude? Dude!" Leo woke up to some guy shaking him awake. Shit, I fell asleep. 

He looked up at the person waking him up. A relatively short guy compared to Leo, blonde with a high ponytail. He was wearing a  grey t-shirt with a band Leo didn't know, and some worn baggy jeans. Damn, this guy is fineee... He blinked, waking himself up a bit more.

"Oh-! Uh,, Hi?" Leo asked awkwardly as 'In The Party' started playing. The guy reached out his hand, "Hey!" He said, pulling Leo up, who towered almost a foot over him.

"..Uh, sorry for, like, falling asleep." Leo picked his phone off his desk and paused his music. The guy laughed, "It's cool. I'm Yuichi, by the way." Leo nodded. "Leonardo, but everyone calls me Leo." He said, grabbed his scrunchie off his desk and putting his hair back up.

"I know," Yuichi paused, realizing how creepy he sounded, "I'm friends with Mikey. We have the same elective." He finished quickly. Leo sighed "That son of a bitch- Was he showin' you bad pictures of me?" Leo took out his phone quickly, going into his photos app. I'm not letting Mikey ruin my chance with this guy!

"..Yeah. After I- uh, yeah-" Yuichi was cut off by Leo shoving his phone in his face. Yuichi looked at his phone and burst out in laughter. The picture was of Michelangelo, from a forehead angle and with his hair pulled up, showing off his big ahh forehead. 

Leo heard a ping from his phone- a text from Raph, telling Leo to get his ass into the car before they leave him at school. "Shit, uh, I gotta go, my brothers are gonna leave me," Leo said, shoving his phone in his pocket. Yuichi nodded, "Yeah, I should go too. Wanna walk out together?" Leo nodded, and they did so.

"Leooooo, I saw you walked out with Yu-i-chiiiii," Mikey teased as Leo got into the back seat of the car. "Ughhhhhh, Don, can we switch seats?" Leo pleaded, buckling his seatbelt. "No, I don't need Mikey to ruin my extra credit." Donnie replied plainly. Leo rolled his eyes, "Whatever," He slouched back into his seat. "Anyways, Yuichi thinks you're cute." Mikey said, putting on his sticker-covered headphones. Leo initially shoved Mikey, then did a double take.

"He said what?" Mikey didn't respond, instead he scream-sang. "Stop being obnoxious, Mike!" Raph said, throwing one of his school books at his brother. Mikey dodged it but shut up, and grabbed his phone. Leo got a ping on his own phone; a text from Mikey. He shot a glance at his brother than opened it- Yuichi's number.

Leo giggled like a schoolgirl, practically kicking his feet, waiting for Yuichi's response. The entire car ride home, he texted Yuichi. He texted him when he got home, he texted him during his free-time during his training. Leo even made Donnie film him while he sparred Mikey, so he could send it to Yuichi.
