AS THE HEROES WATCHED THE LOV RETREAT, dread gripped their hearts.

Wounded heroes ---and wounded students--- lay scattered across the battlefield. Those rendered unconsious were considered lucky, unable to feel their excruciating pain.

Unless they were dead.

The Liberation Army disappeared into the distance, dragging the world's faith in heroes with them. With Endeavour's family secrets out, multiple fatalities, and the Hero Association's guts spilled out for all the world to see, the heroes seemed to have lost this one.

Unbeknownst to them, in a basement somewhere in the corners of Japan, was you. Laughing uncontrollably as you watched the news broadcast their downfall.

You kicked your feet and giggled, wiping away the tears that gathered around your eyes. With a long sigh, your laughter died down as you caught your breath.

It was your time to shine now, you realised.

What the Liberation Army was doing, hah it made you laugh. Those pathetic little shits prancing about with their ideals and their dreams of a better world, all whilst they pull the society they're trying to 'save' into ruin.

You couldn't help but pity their feeble minds, incapable of logical thought.

You on the other hand. You could change the world. Probably not for the better, no.

Psh, the world didn't deserve better.

You got up from the tattered couch, legs shaking under your own weight, before ultimately collapsing back onto the couch.

Perhaps you'd let the world burn a little longer before your divine intervention.

IZUKU WAS UTTERLY EXHAUSTED.

How long had he been going for, he started to wonder. How long had it been since he left UA?

He could barely fight to keep his eyes open at this point, the bitter temptation of rest lapping at his heels as he kept his senses peeled for danger. How long could he keep going for, he wondered.

God, let him rest. Please.

Please?

But God only laughed in his face.
For rest is not bestowed onto the kind.

So quell those selfish dreams Izuku.
You do not get to rest.

Every one felt it.

Every hero, every thug, every child and their mother. They all felt the horrid chill creep up their spine when they looked up at the sky. They all felt the horror, the terrible fear that plagued their minds, when the sky itself turned to a blood red.

They all felt it when the clouds turned an eerie crimson as they seemed to swirl around the sun, though they lay so many miles apart.

Everyone felt it when the sky started to
BLEED.
