"So you're seriously going to just walk up to him and demand it?" Lucas asks, popping a piece of gum in his mouth.
"Well, yeah, I mean I don't remember all the tasks. Only a few, like ten." I say, rolling my eyes.
"O-kay then," He replies back, turning his attention to his phone.
I sigh, looking at the clock for the thirtieth time. I just wanted to get it back, before he decided to make copies and post them all over the school. (Though who would want to take the time to do all that?)
Once the bell rang, I practically ran to my locker, and then to my English class. When I walked in, as expected, Noah was already sitting in his seat. And his gaze was on me.
"Noah," I hiss quietly at him, "You know I know you have it. So give it back. Now." I stare at him, but he doesn't even move.
"You can have it back," He says, eerily calm. I immediately sigh in relief. "If," He says, turning his body towards mine. "You go to my party this weekend."
"Huh?" Unintelligent, I know.
"My party, this weekend, on Saturday. If you want the list back, give me your number and I will text you the time."
"Fine, it's 740-435-6789." I say, watching as he put it in his contacts.
"Okay," Noah says, I think mostly to himself. When Mr. Nile quiets down the class, I turn my attention to the slide show.
"Oh, and darling, don't forget to kiss a random dude." Noah whispers besides me.
I blanched, because he just confirmed my biggest fear.
He read it.

"Why do I have to wear this Mel?" I ask, standing in front of my mirror.
"Because it's sexy, hut like innocent sexy," My best friend turns to face me, rolling her eyes as she watches me fidget.
I was wearing a turquoise tank top dress, with gold sandals that rubbed against my heel. Melissa also forced me to straighten my hair, but I didn't try to stop her. She's like a crazy gorilla that didn't get her share of bananas.
"Well you look better than me," I pout, still trying to get her to change her mind. I didn't even want to go to this party, so why did I have to look nice?
"I'm practically wearing what I wear everyday, and you're not changing." She said, adjusting her tight tank top. Remind me to check her oxygen flow later, because the shirt might be cutting it off.
"Whatever, let's go and get the boys," I say, ignoring the questions that come to my mind every time I think of Austin and his little friend Emily.
Were we even seeing each other still? And did his feelings he claimed he had for me disappear?
I think the bigger question is did I still have feelings for him?

"So what's the plan?" Melissa asks, her hands on her hips as we stand outside of Noah's house.
"Go in, find Noah, get the list, then I don't know, maybe one beer?" I say, looking at my group of friends. Or should I say best friend, and her boyfriend, with my confusing acquaintance?
"Sounds good to me," Lucas adds in, linking an arm around Mel's shoulders. I frown, wishing I knew what was going on with Asshole. I mean, Austin.
"You look pretty, Cam," Austin says, and god, why did my stomach flip?
"Thanks," I shrug and follow the couple into the house, my head already starting to pound from the loud music.
