Hi, my name is Hunter Ghola and I am dead. Don't know how I died and I doubt I'll ever find out. Anyways, I was a fan of animes, manga, and most fictional books. Among my favorites were things like MHA, The Beginning after the End, Solo Leveling, Percy Jackson, ect. I also enjoyed fanfics on the occasion.

Anyways, back on track. The universe decided that it was time for me to open my eyes and that I did. When I did I saw to things. One, a doctor holding me. The second, being a black box with a gold outlining. It resembled the screens seen in Solo Leveling, as well as in most Gamer fanfics. So to say I was a bit shocked was an understatement. As I read the box in front of me I grew both scared and excited.

[Congratulations! You have been chosen to be the user of the new gamer system.]

I read this with a grain of salt, 'New means that either this is the first of it's kind of this system is unfamiliar.' As this traveled through my head a new box appeared.

[Would you like to begin a tutorial?]

I quickly decided to wait until later, more specifically until I was alone. The doctor had handed me to my mother who was smiling at me with a motherly grin. Something I hadn't had the chance of seeing before today.

I lay at home in my crib, pulling up the menu from earlier. I chose the yes option mentally and a new screen appeared before my eyes.

[This tutorial will be teaching you how to use your system. With that in mind, think of the word 'status' to begin.]

Immediately the word 'Status' passed through my mind. This caused two boxes to open up.

[The Status screen can be used to track your growth as well as check for any status updates. Think 'Skills' to continue]

'These stats suck, but I'm a newborn so it's understandable.' I thought to myself before moving onto my skill page.

Passive skills

Gamer's Mind: Lvl Max

Allows the user to ignore mental effects and stay calm under any circumstance

Gamer's Body: Lvl Max

Allows the user to live life as a video game. Removing the need to eat, sleep, and drink.

Longevity: Lvl Max

Allows the user to regrow body parts and remove any negative status effect through sleeping.

'These are nice, Longevity will be incredibly useful. Especially since I'm in the world of MHA from the look of things.' I mused as I thought about things like All for One.

'Speaking of All for One, should I become a villain or a hero. Maybe both, a double agent like Hawks would be smart.' I asked myself.

A new screen popped up and showed the status screen before showing Icon at the top. The flashing icon showed a list and on the list was parts of the system interface.

Checking out the three tabs showed me that the inventory was just like most inventories in the gamer stories, however it had an item in it that I decided I'd check later. The gacha tab was a neat feature that had three different roulettes. Each were labeled Normal Gacha, Premium Gacha, and Godly Gacha respectively. A small question mark in the corner showed that these Gacha could be used to gain new powers.

The Perks store was something that in my opinion seemed better than the gacha. The Perks store allowed me to buy perks that could do next to anything. From increasing a stat to giving me a new skill.

When I finally stopped checking out the features I looked around my room, and after several minutes of looking I got a notification.

[Ding!]

[For constantly searching your room you have been given Observe skill]

Pulling up the skill screen for the skill I saw it was about the same as the stories said.

Observe: Lvl 1 (0%)

Gives the user the ability to gain information on a person or object.

Spamming for a few more minutes I managed to level it to 3. This gave me the ability to see the ownership of objects.

With that I decided to go to sleep to pass time seeing as there was nothing I could do to pass time otherwise.
