"Where are you going?" I asked him as I was playing my fork and the bacon slid onto the plate. Daniel looked like he was in a hurry to somewhere. He gulped down the milk and kissed me goodbye. He said he was going to meet his old friends and he wouldn't be back too late. You know me I'm actually very doubtful that he's going to gamble again, but I'm tired of pointing at his nose and warning him every day. Damn I'm not his parent.
I'm going to the supermarket today to buy some gloceries and visit my brother. My brother is an artist, according to himself, lol, he said he does shows in bars, talk shows and stuff like that. I haven't been to any of his show yet. But guess what, on the way to the supermarket I happened to see my brother's name printed on the show schedule on the window of a pub! I planned to surprise him tonight.

So I was in the supermarket, checking the shelf life of a package of bread, and someone was patting my back, that was a woman.
"Hey! you live nearby too? ..what's wrong? I'm Jada, don't tell me you've already forgotten me."
I was so confused, but I realized in a second that this was probably another chick Laurent hooked up with. I decided to trick her. ".....Jada! Great to see you here. Do you know I have a stand up show today? So..would you like to..." "Of course, wow I didn't know you were a stand up comedian."
"Oh and by the way, " I smiled maliciously inside, "My girlfriend will also come to see me, she is a sweetheart, I believe you two will get along very well." "
She squinted her eyes, moved her eyes up and down my face, and then smiled: "Then I guess I should bring my girlfriend too, we can have a double date after it! What do you think." I was puzzled for a few seconds and to be honest, I was a little surprised, because she didn't look like a lesbian at all, but I nodded and agreed to her. "Sure," I said, "sure why not...."
After she left, I let out a long breath, there was something about her that was very special, she was super charismatic, but she looked very mature and calm, as if nothing could make her lose control.
After shopping, I came home and cleaned out the apartment. Daniel wasn't back for dinner, so I decided to have a drink at the bar where Laurent performs. I was wearing a cap and sitting in a corner. Just as I was looking for Laurent, I saw that woman named Jada. She met my eyes, I bowed my head and stuck out my tongue in a guilty conscience. She said something to the other woman next to her (her girlfriend, I assume) and walked in my direction. And I was like Please don't, pLease
"Hey."
"hh..hey.."
She laughed. "Don't be embarrassed, I know you're not Laurent."
I looked at her in surprise.
"You guys look a lot more similar than most identical twins, but there are still differences and it's easier for me to tell the difference. My brother also has a twin."
"Wow. I... I have nothing to say, I was just kidding earlier, you know when you have a twin brother you just want to do shit like this." I gave her a big smile, feeling a bit embarrassed.
"Don't worry about it. Me and my girlfriend are sitting there, if you want to sit with us you can come with me."
"Um.." To be honest, I was a little scared of her. "maybe later, I was just about to..ah..finish my drink."I didn't even know what I was saying.
After she smiled at me she left. Why was she smiling at me? Although I know she is lesbian, but she seemed a bit interested in me. Should I tell her I'm gay TOO? I guess I'm just overthinking....
Finally the show started and I saw my brother come on stage, the crowd was very quiet. So I took the lead in applauding in the corner. But as the talk show went on my brother started saying weird stuff and he didn't act like himself, well I said to myself that proper acting is probably necessary for a comedian.. I laughed dryly along with the audience. It was all good until he started taunting and attacking gay men , kind of intentionally, and it was just obvious that "Sam" in his story was actually Daniel, because he said 'sam' was actively taking part in drugs and gambling. I was so angry, he knew that Daniel and I were in a difficult situation, but he made a joke based on it, wtf

I left silently halfway, Daniel called me, he said he was back home. you know what, I don't care about Laurent's lame jokes, I have Daniel, and he needs me.
When I got home, I smelled something was over burned. I giggled when I saw Daniel in the kitchen, looking busy and anxious. I crossed my arms and just appreciated this hilarious moment for a second, he didn't even notice me. "oh my god Daniel..what are you doing."
"uh, making dinner for you, obviously." He was sweating, he was concentrated on the pan although it was already black in the center. I hugged him from behind and kissed his neck. "Honey, you don't have to worry about that."
"what are you talking about, i made you all these, i was so serious about it, i wanted to make it look good." Daniel was a little angry, but his tone was still very gentle. I felt a little guilty for a moment, he was right, I shouldn't have hit his self-confidence like this. I decided I'd eat whatever he did, after all he made it for ME.
