You were Tommy's best friend of six years. Having become friends in high school. He was one of the bestest friends you could ever have, but you wanted more.
You had feelings for him ever since you met him, and it's becoming a problem. Especially for your mental health. Having to see him with different women when you loved him was taking a toll on you.
However, unbeknownst to you, Tommy also was struggling with the same thing. He figured you didn't have feelings for him, so he continued to go out with other girls to take his mind off of you. But he couldn't. His feelings for you were growing stronger. Luckily, this never interfered with his performances. But whenever you'd walk in the studio during practice, he'd get sidetracked which caused him to be yelled at by Nikki.
One day, you were sitting in his couch mindlessly watching whatever soap opera was playing on the TV, when your best friend walked in. "Hey, didn't know you were here." He said. You turned to look at him.
"Oh, the TV at my place is broken so, I figured I'd just use yours." You said with a teasing smile.
Tommy chuckled before jumping over the back of the couch and landing in the cushion.
You thought over and over when the perfect time to confess your feelings was, and you decided this was the perfect time. Now or never.
You paused the show and turned towards him. He raised his eyebrows. "Hey, Tommy." You started.
"Yes, Y/n?" He replied.
You toyed with your fingernails nervously, "I've...been having feelings for you since high school and I think I'm in love with you."
Tommy's eyes widened and you weren't sure if it was for good or bad. But then that expression turned into a genuine smile. One that you've always loved.
"Y/n...fuck. I love you too." Tommy responded. Now it was your turn to widen your eyes in surprise.
He then took your face in his hands and pressed his lips against yours. Your arms went around his neck as he kissed you back.
When the two of you pulled away, he said,
"You know what? Let's get married."
"But, Tommy we just confessed our feelings today! We should at least go on a date first." You protested.
He took your hands in his, "Well we've been friends for six years and know everything about each other, been in love since we met...I don't think it'd do any harm to skip the dating stage."
"Yeah, you know what? Let's get married." You squealed when he pulled you onto his lap, wrapping his arms around your waist.
"So, do you wanna book a flight to Vegas or???" He asked.
"Hmm....yes. But then we'll have an official wedding afterwards."
Tommy smiled and kissed you before grabbing the phone on the side table and dialing the airport's number.
