Ch 12: the Treehouse in the Park

Mikey and Draken quickly got ready to go and as they left the bath house with all their stuff Izuku was already driving away. Mikey and Draken quickly reved up their bikes and trailed behind him.

Mikey shouts "Izuku slow down!"

but Izuku keeps going, it almost seems like he's speeding up as he swerves between cars at high speeds

Draken looks at Mikey "Bro I don't think he can hear us!" they sped up to keep up with Izuku, and it soon turned into a high speed chase, Izuku took lefts and rights going between cars, to alleys to bridges, to empty streets, to parks, through the suburbs and the red light district, it has been almost an hour by now and the two captains of Toman had been trying to talk to Izuku who wouldn't listen,

"Mikey we're coming up on a single lane streat into a intersection, I'm gonna call the rest of the gang here to help," said Draken

"Don't, it'll overwhelm him," said Mikey

"Then this is gonna go forever,"

"Fuck," mumbles Mikey as he starts slowing down, Draken does the same as he follows the captain's actions, Izuku speeds off in the distance and quickly gets out of sight between cars and buildings

"Let's just wait, he'll show up when he feels better," said Draken as they turn around and leave.

With the UA kids

The squad of students were on their way to the Yaoyorozu mansion while dragging Katsuki with them, who was still a bit dizzy from the punches and hadn't gotten a hold of reality yet.

Kaminari pokes Katsuki a couple of times "Yo bro how much is 2+2?"

"5" he says as he pokes back

"Nah bro it's 6,"

"WHAT, BUT PIKACHU YOU LITERALLY JUST SAID IT WAS 5!"

"I was wrong! You know me!"

"True true..."

"Factos"

"Factos indeed" says Bakugo as Sero and Kaminari break out laughing

Meanwhile Kirishima is in deep thought he turns to Iida who's marching with a frown and he hesitates a little before he speaks, "Iibro, are you sure he's gonna be ok?"

"I'm sorry Kirishima but I couldn't give less fucks about Bakugo right now, I'm pissed and confused,"

"No, I know, I'm talking about Midoriya,"

Iida's breath halts for a second as his eyes shake quickly "I have no idea, I'm supposed to be one of his best friends and I have no idea where and how he is, I'm worried and tired. I just want him to be safe but for some reason he pushes himself too hard, he trains too hard and he studies too hard, I'm scared for him because he's physically and mentally breaking himself slowly and I don't know how to help him." Iida says, streaks of tears begin to fall slowly, slowly but surely "How do I know that I can trust him with my problems and trust him to be ok if he can't trust me to show me his true self. I've learnt more about him in these last two weeks than in the past couple of months that we've been training and facing death together. I'm just so worried."

Kirishima suddenly feels as if an inmense ammount of weight has been placed uppon him, all the pain and suffering that Iida was going through, it wasn't a joke, "Hey Iida, do you think maybe you're worried about Midoriya because of what happened with your brother, You fear having another close one get wounded and that's why you're so worried,"
