Ouch I think as my body feels like a mess as I sit up and upen my eyes I'm not at the train station. Or a hospital

"Axel Addams." Says a voice behind me and I spin around to face it only to be met with the void "we must apologize. It was not planned for you to depart so soon" continues the voice

"oh right. The train" I mumble "yes it wasn't planned for you to die yet, unfortunately we can't just send you back, y'know with your body being mangled amongst a train" it says with a half laugh

"I guess your right. But. what about Flint! And Donna! And Linda! What's going to happen to them! My life was just about to turn around!" I shout feeling infuriated and scared at what I was being told

"me and flint could have actually became a couple but because of some cosmic mistake. I can't live that life!" I throw my hands feeling all the bottled frustration bubble up.

it's silent with only the sound of my heavy breath "let me see them. . .please. just once" I beg as I only hear a huff in response

the floor I stand on produces a orb, roughly  the size of a basketball and projects an image "as you wish" it responds as I see my own funeral. Their was a lot more people there than I thought. I see Mrs Linda near Flint as he bawls his eyes out and Donna on the podium saying things I can't hear.

Sandoval and some of my co workers are there to. I can see flints face and my heart breaks seeing the misery in his face " it was a lovely service. Fully paid for by your old boss" comments the voice the anguish on their faces wrenches at my heart

"I have a request" I say to the voice "we already told you son, we can't send you bac-" "make sure their lives are happy" I say to it as it stays silent "why not make them forget?" It asks "I want them to have a memory that's good and I want them to grow, it would be cruel to rob them of a friend and the image of a lover" I smile sadly at the orb as I let it drop "well said son " says the voice "as recompense as well as an honor for living the life you did of a hard worker and a caring man" it says as the thunderous roar of a semis engine rips through the void

"a life of luxury and power awaits you" say the voice from behind me again as I again try to see it just to be met with the grills of a semi "FUCK-"
