I stepped out of the taxi and lifted my bag onto my shoulder. Glancing down at my phone screen and then back to the house in front of me. "Well, there's no going back now."

Walking up to the front porch of the nearest house I rang the doorbell, it took a few minutes before the door swung open to reveal a woman with long-ish, brown hair.

"Hey, Becca, did you miss me?" I grinned at the brunette woman in front of me.

"Who'd you piss off this time?" She asked as she allowed me to walk in.

"No one, at least no one who knows yet." I placed my bag down on the couch and then sat next to it.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" She asked sitting opposite me placing her feet on the coffee table.

"Sam and Dean have been driving me crazy. Between them fighting and trying to tell me what I can and can't do, I've had enough." Huffing, I ran a hand through my hair. "Anyway, one thing lead to another and I had to get out."

"I think I already know the answer to this, but, what brings you to Beacon Hills?"

I gave her a cheeky smile. "I need somewhere to stay, and you're the only person I know who doesn't know Sam or Dean. I would get a job and keep out of your way. I just need to lay low for a while. Please?"

"Of course, as long as you tell your brothers where you are."

"For sure."

She nods. "Then okay, you can take the spare bedroom. On Monday we'll get you enrolled at the high school."

I dropped back into my seat after attempting to get up. "I'm sorry? I believe I heard you wrong."

"No you didn't, chica. If you're going to stay here a while you need to behave like a normal teen, not a hunter."

I groaned. "Fine, I'm going to bed." I lifted myself and my bag from the couch and headed towards where I knew the spare bedroom was. "And Beck." I called over my shoulder, she turned her head to me. "Thank you."

She smiled. "No problem, kiddo."

I spent weekend getting settled in my room, that took all of an hour, and getting myself used to the town. I had decided to make a list of all the necessary items I would need, for example; toiletries, clothes, new bed sheets, and maybe some decoration for my room. It was weird to think that I would actually have a room to call my own, I've been on the move for as long as I can remember but it would make for a nice change of pace.

Coming out of a drug store, I checked over my list and all I had left to get was a new pair of shoes; as the ones currently on my feet were about to fall off.

Only I didn't get that far.

Before I took another step, I crashed into a body and my bags tumbled to the floor. I remained standing due to the strangers hands steadying me.

"Are you okay?" A panicked voice asked.

I looked up and was met with the most beautiful pair of brown eyes, they were like pools of molten chocolate, a caramel swirl running throughout. I shook my head as I realised I haven't answered his question. "Yeah, sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going." I knelt down to pick up the bags I dropped, groaning when I realised everything came out of the bags.

Brown eyes knelt next to me to give me a hand. "No, I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention."

"How about we call it even?" I smiled at him.

He laughed lightly. "Yeah, I'd like that." We both stood up and he handed my bag over. "I'm Stiles, by the way. Stiles Stilinski."

"Kacey Winchester at your service." I gave a mock bow and he chuckled. "Thanks for the help but I should be heading home."
