This Last Time

Chapter 10

I opened my eyes and saw a bright light. I covered my eyes and saw the sun. I stood up and almost fell. I caught my balance. I heard a twig snap.

I turned around and saw a girl with black hair.

"Lucy?" I say.

"Chad!" She yells and runs towards me. I open my arms to hug her.

As he gets closer a smile widens on my face. She jumps into my arms but everything quickly disappears.

It was dark. Where am I? I was just coming to get Lucy.

I felt my arms chained. I tried to pull but no use.

"Well, well, well, look what we have here," it was Lance.

"Let me go!" I yell and I see Jem behind her. She looked different. Her blonde hair was turned to the color black. Her skin was really pale and her eyes were red.

"Should I get the holy water?" Jem asks.

"Yes, go get it Jem," Lance says.

Shit! Shit! Shit! I can die!

Jem comes back with a bucket of holy water. She hands it to Lance.

"I wonder what your sister would do if she was alive and I killed you," Lance smirks.

"She would kill you!" I yell. Jem looked sad then her look went away.

"Hahaha! Chad you're so stupid!" Lance yells. He takes the bucket and pours it over my head.

"Wake up!" I gasp and I'm laying in my bed with water on my face.

I see Toby, then Ellie. It was all a dream.

"What happened?" I asked.

"You blacked out when we went to go save Jem. But you were so injured that we didn't know what to do with you," Toby says.

I looked around my room. Everything was different but it wasnt. My heart pounded harder and faster.

"Chad!" Ellie yells.

"Guys! I'm-I'm-I'm!" My head was hurting and I pressed my hands against my ears. Then it stopped. That only happens when I see the future.

"What just happened?" Toby asks.

"Ellie," I say.

"You're gotta stay away from us when we fight Lance," I say.

"Why? I wanna help," she says.

"Ellie, you're going to die if you comes with us," I say. The room became silent.

"Did you have a dream of the future?" Toby asks.

"Yeah, and I found some stuff out," I say.

"Like what?" Ellie asks.

"I know what's wrong with Lance, and I know that you're going to die Ellie if you come with us, I don't know how though, and I saw Lucy," I finish saying.

"So all of this is going to happen soon?" Toby asks.

"Yes, and we need to get to Slenderman as soon as possible. In my dream we discussed a plan saying we bring Lucy back to help us. But we don't know if she's willing to do that," I say.

"Then we better get to Slendy before Lance does something unexpected," Toby says.

"Slendy?" I laugh.
