Chapter 3: The Crater

Two strange Pokémon appeared out of the Pokeballs Ash tossed into the air.

"Agiyaah!" The red one with cool hair cried.

"Gyaaah!" The purple one with robotic limbs shouted.

Serena, Josh and Flow stared at the odd beings in front of them, while Ash grinned brightly.

"Ash..." Serena asked quietly, "I am going to ask this just once, okay? What are these... things?"

Ash shrugged, still grinning wildly.

"I'm not sure, but aren't they great?!" He laughed.

Josh looked at Nemona, who simply smiled.

"Does anybody here know what they are?!" Josh asked, "I refuse to believe you found a Pokémon that nobody knows exists, again!"

Flow agreed with Josh.

"It doesn't seem likely that these..." Flow struggled to find the words to describe the Pokémon in front of her, "Overgrown Cyclizar would just sit back and let you catch them."

Ash laughed.

"Oh, they didn't!" He smiled, "Arven, that guy we were supposed to meet up with, had their Pokeballs. He didn't seem to want them anyway, so he let us take them after I kicked his butt in a battle! He told us that the red one is named Koraidon, and the purple one is Miraidon!"

Serena still had a few questions so she leaned forward towards Ash with a curious look on her face.

"How did you find these two anyway?" She asked.

"Funny story, actually," Ash chuckled, "You see, I fell of a cliff, and the-"

"What?!" Serena shouted, "I thought I told you to be careful!"

Josh looked at Flow with a look of disbelief!

"And you told me that I should be more like him," He scoffed, "I don't want to fall off a cliff and act like nothing happened! Now that you've met him, do you still want me to be like him?!"

Flow shrugged.

"I didn't say that you should be reckless like him, Josh," She responded, "I simply meant that you could maybe get on a similar level of battling skill to Ash, and then you might stand a chance against me."

Josh gasped, and the two of them began arguing in the back of the group as Serena continued to question Ash.

"Alright, how did you manage to find Arven anyway?"

"Well, we went into a cave, and when we made it out, we were at the lighthouse," Ash said, "I also learnt that Arven just wanted to meet me to ask him fight some 'Titans' or something like that. I don't know why yet, but I told him that if I find one, I'll battle it with him."

Serena frowned and slouched.

"So Arven didn't even want to meet me," She pouted.

Ash gave her a firm pat on the shoulder.

"Don't worry," He said, "Arven seemed bothered by something, and probably didn't want a big crowd around at the moment."
