The next morning at sunrise the group watch the sheriffs put cuffs on Rafe.

"I would of gotten away with it if it weren't for those meddling kids." Rafe says.

"And there nosey horse." The elderly man who keeps calling Scooby a horse says.

"Not a horse." Scooby says.

"But a pretty good dog." Buddy laughs as he pets Scooby.

"Ain't that the truth." Alexis says as she and Buddy laugh.

"So here you are again." Shaggy says handing Tawny the prize money.

"I can't thank you enough. I mean all of you. Especially you cuz." Tawny says.

"Like it's too bad all of the tourists think our ancestor was a desperato." Shaggy says.

"They won't anymore Shaggy. From now on I'll tell them the true story of Dapper Jack." Tawny says.

"Aren't you afraid that'll hurt business? Everybody likes the Dapper Jack outlaw story." Velma says.

"Come on. The story of Rufus Carmicheal the outlaw slash criminal mastermind is way better." Tawny says.

"The only story I wanna know is why I can't grow a decent beard like Dapper Jack? I've got more hair on my toes than I do on my chin." Shaggy says.

"Tmi cuz." Tawny says in disgust.

"I agree with Tawny. That's a little more info than I needed to know about you Shaggy." Alexis says.

"So are guys really leaving?" Buddy asks.

"Yeah. I wish we weren't. I wanted to talk to you more." Alexis says sadly.

"Me too. Which is why I am giving you this." Buddy says as he gives Alexis an envelope with a phone number on it.

"A phone number?" Alexis asks.

"My phone number. I also put my address and a couple plane tickets that are good for any time you want to use them. You know if you want-" Buddy then gets cut off by Alexis.

"Yes. I'd love to visit." Alexis says as she smiles.

"Good. Hopefully it will be as my girlfriend when you do so we can go do something together." Buddy says happily before she kisses Buddy causing him to blush.

"I don't have a problem with that." Alexis says happily..

"Alexis come on! We're leaving." Daphne says.

"So text me later?" Buddy asks shyly.

"Of course. Bye Buddy. I'll talk with you soon as I can." Alexis says happily.

"And I'll do the same. I can't wait for us to hang out." Buddy says as he smiles.

"Me either." Alexis says before she leaves with the others.
