Seaside Addict

Your voice lures me to the rocks like a siren song
Beckoning me to the deadly shore
And I know that your sick promises are wrong
And yet I beg and beg for more

You supply me with a need so strong, I risk my life for it

I long for the warmth you give in the icy cold
You could drown me in my habits, the seaside addict
I hope that truly I am all you want to hold

I need you and you want me
Or at least so it seems
I am held captive by the sea
Yet it's the stuff of dreams

I wanted and needed you, hidden by the sea
Thought that you were mine, poisoning my beating heart
And yet in the intensity, you swallowed all of me
Something as harmless as your voice was it's wretched start
