PREVIOUSLY ON AFTERGLOW . . . Joey teams up with the Society Against Evil to save his dead friends. Even when free, their feelings about him are mixed. Trapped inside the museum are other familiar faces. Things go wrong, and Joey awakens the collector's museum of monsters. Our heroes learn they must gather nine keys before the Armageddon clock strikes morning if they want to get back home. But finding them won't be easy.

THE GROUP SPLITS APART WHILST RUNNING.
They were trying to run from the murdered and betrayed pharaoh. Vivienne watched as her friends run as she sprinted away, hearing their frightened screams. Vivienne could tell which were Rosanna's, a familiar sound she wanted to forget.
Timothy: And all of a sudden, an Egyptian, beef jerky man, starts chasing us around.
Alex: I wouldn't say I was scared. More like surprised, 'cause I don't get scared.
"Shut the door!" Vivienne repeats, Calliope and Mortimer close the two doors together. Then they could hear the pharaoh's bangs on the door, wanting to get inside.
"He looks like beef jerky." Timothy comments.
"He needs to moisturize!" Bretman says.
"Why did we do that?" Tana asks.
Vivienne looked around the room, to settle in to her surroundings while everyone else stared at the door. "Guys! There's a scroll here." Vivienne told, and grabbed it.
Justine: The mummy chased us into the room, and it's crazy because we don't know what to do. But surprise,, it's another scroll with some words and some more directions for us to follow.
"He needs lotion." Bretman added as Vivienne began to roll down the scroll.
"The pharaoh was a kind ruler, but those close to him were not. They killed him using dark magic and did not understand the evil consequences of their actions. As a mummy, his mind is a blur of hate and revenge. But only he knows the location of the first jeweled key." Vivienne read
Colleen: So, in order to get the key, we just need to talk to this terrifying, evil mummy whose mind is full of hate and revenge. Sounds great!
Vivienne: Honestly, the story is tragic. The pharaoh just wants love and he got betrayed by those he had around him.
"What do we do? Do we go to him and talk?" Tana suggests, immediately hearing the group's response.
"No!" Joey exclaims, summing majority of it.
"Are you insane??" Colleen questions the blonde.
"No we have to obviously open this thing." Gabbie tapped on the chest.
