OffGun February Collection of Drabbles 2023

Pine (Off/Gun)

Sometimes Gun felt so exhausted from all of the pining after the dumbest person on earth, alias his partner, the great Off Jumpol. He wondered how it was possible for Off not to see it. He put his feelings on the plate and showed them under his nose. Either he was the dumbest human in the whole universe, or he didn't like him the same way. Gun rolled on his belly on his bed, put the pillow under his chin and took the phone from the nightstand. An enormous pout formed on his face when he didn't find any response to the text he sent approximately thirty minutes ago, though Off obviously read it. 

"What is so hard on replaying to my I miss you!" Gun shouted frustratedly. Maybe this was a sign for him to give up. He kicked his legs in defeat, sighing as he looked at his phone lock screen. The two hands tightly clasped together, fingers intervened. He remembers very well the day he took the photo. Papii was napping on the sofa after the meeting, not minding, when he sneaked his small palm into his bigger one and snapped the picture. Gun had a feeling Off knew what he was doing but didn't bother to stop him. 

The knock on his room door pulled Gun out of the reminiscing. 

"Leave me alone, Pim," Gun growled. He was in no mood to entertain his childish sister today when he was ready to bathe in his self-pity. Another knock echoed through this room. Gun rolled his eyes annoyingly before he hopped off the bed and stormed towards the entrance. He opened the door forcefully, ready to scold his younger sibling, but a different face popped in front of him.

"Papii? What are you doing here?" Gun mouthed his partner's name confusedly. The older male was silent, looking at him with emotion too familiar to Gun. He let Off inside his room and closed the door behind him. His body was suddenly pulled forward and enveloped in a tight embrace. 

"I miss you too." Off whispered into his ear, and at that moment, Gun forgot all his plans about moving on. It was always these little gestures that made him fall for Papii more. 

Maybe one day, his feelings will reach the dumb old man, and they will grow old together.
