CHAPTER 3

Evening time

KIM MANSION
Jin was preparing for  dinner with the help of the servents. It was half an hour left for Taehyung's arrival from office and an hour left for the Jeon couple's arrival.

Namjoon was instructing the other servents to clean the hall and the area around the dining table. And make them look representable enough.

After sometime,Tae arrived. He greeted his parents and went towards his room to freshen up and change into something yet presentable.

After a while, he came downstairs and settled down on the sofa with his parents, waiting for the Jeons.

Taehyung- Appa, how much time is left for the Jeons' arrival ?
Namjoon- They are on the way and will reach in some minutes, bear.
Jin- Are you nervous, bear?

Jin asked looking towards his son , who is carrying innumerable questions in his eyes.
Taehyung- not nervous, it's just I don't how I feel right now. It's difficult to word it.
Jin- Be calm and everything will be fine.

Tae just gave a small smile to his eomma.

After some minutes,The Jeons arrived.

Namjoon and Mr. Jeon and Jin and Mrs. Jeon hugged each other with smiles on their faces. Taehyung bowed and greeted The Jeons with a small smile. They all went towards the main hall and got settled down on the sofas.

Mr. Jeon- How are you all doing?
Namjoon- We are fine. What about you both and your son?
Mr. Jeon- we are also doing fine and our son is.

Mr. Jeon took a pause as he didn't know what to say, how to say about his son's condition. Mrs. Jeon then told their son is the same as he was from a long time.

The atmosphere got tensed suddenly.
After the mention of the Jeon's son, Taehyung looked towards the Jeons he  see the pain in their eyes. He was now more curious to know about their son . The boy about whom he knew nothing, not even his name. As the Jeon's son never made any public appearance.

Jin sensing the atmosphere asked all of them to have dinner first. They all agreed and tried ease out the tensed  atmosphere by talking on some random topics while moving towards the dining table and got settled down on the chairs.

On the dining table, Mr. Jeon and Namjoon started talking about business and Mrs. Jeon and Jin were talking about some recipes. Mr.Jeon then asked Taehyung.

Mr. Jeon- How's your work going, Taehyung?
Taehyung- It's fine, Mr. Jeon.
Mr. Jeon- Don't be so formal, you can call uncle. And I have heard a lot of good things about you. A lot of people are looking for a chance to work with you. You have acquired great success.
Taehyung- Thanks for the compliment, uncle.
Mrs. Jeon- now stop talking about business and all.
Jin-yeah, it's not a business meeting.

They said as they were irritated of their husbands' talk but also smiled when Mr. Jeon praised Taehyung.

All of three stopped talking and focused on their food , being afraid of the two.

After finishing their meal, they again came towards the main hall and got sitted.

Mr. Jeon- I think now we both should tell about our son to  taehyung. So, shall I start?
Namjoon nodded.
Mr. Jeon started
My son's name is Jungkook, Jeon Jungkook. He is right now 23 and will soon turn 24. He never wanted media's attention so he asked us to hide his identity from a very young age. We always did whatever he wanted because we only wanted his happiness. He is our only child, whom we love a lot and treated  him like a delicate petal from his childhood. He is very sensitive. Before all the bad happenings in his life, he was a bubbly child whose smile can make everyone's day better.
