CHAPTER 5

It's been two days since both Taehyung and Jungkook met.

They both went back to their usual routine, it's just that a thought of each other in their mind was added to their daily routine.

Jungkook still can't digest the fact that he was comfortable and feeling protected around Taehyung.

Meanwhile our Cold CEO has become Nervous Kim because he can't even gather courage to send a single text to his future partner.

But now he have to text him. Because as his Eomma aka Jin has instructed him that tomorrow they both have to go for their engagement's shopping.

Taehyung
Hi
Come to xxx Mall at 4pm
For our engagement's shopping.
  
                                                Jungkook
                                                           Ok

After seeing the reply Tae slept.

Moving towards Jungkook

He knew that they both have to go for their engagement's shopping because his mother already informed him about it while having dinner.

He also tried to sleep and after awhile slept but his same night routine repeated once again.

Once again he was crying because of the memories that tore his soul.

Next day 4:30 pm
At VANTE CORPORATION

Mr. Kim the great is working on his desk like that the only thing which exists in this world is his work .

He was so indulged in the work he was doing that he lost the track of time. And now he is late for their engagement's shopping with his soon to be fiance.

He was checking one file when Jimin walked in.

Taehyung- What the hell are you doing here ? Don't you have any work ?

Jimin- First you tell me what the fuck are you doing here? Don't you remember you have to go for your engagement's shopping with Jungkook ?

Jimin said being irritated by younger's  workaholic nature.

Jimin- It's 4:30 right now, don't tell me you have forgotten about it.

Realisation hit hard on the Kim's head.

Taehyung- Oh God Chim , I swear I didn't forget. I was working cause of which I didn't realise the time. Jungkook must have reached there. I am leaving , he must be waiting for me .

After saying this he quickly moved out of his cabin leaving a bewildered Jimin in his cabin.

He went towards his car, settled himself inside and started driving
towards the mall. Increasing car's speed he tried to reach as early as possible.

On Jungkook's side

Jungkook reached the mall on time hoping that  Taehyung would be there  as it's the first time he was going out in any public place after his divorce. And that too alone as he never in his life went out alone . He was nervous. He has kinda started fearing crowded places and strangers and it grew with time.

He walked inside the mall. His eyes were searching for Taehyung.

He texted Taehyung but the later didn't replied. ( Who's gonna tell him his workaholic soon to be fiance is still working on his office desk.)

He roamed around the mall for 25 minutes searching for Taehyung but couldn't find him.

By each passing minute, everything around him was becoming scarier for him. The people, their stares were freaking him out. He was feeling like everyone is looking at him only . Tears started gathering in his eyes.
