Harry was tense. He would be meeting with Draco in less than two hours and he had no idea what to say. However, some things needed to be clarified first.
"Okay," Harry started, while he, Ron and Hermione sat in a corner of the hallway. "I really need you two to tell me what you know."
"Harry, I-" Hermione started.
"Please?" Harry said as his eyes exhilarated desperation.
He didn't know what his friends knew, but, most importantly, he didn't know how his friends were aware of whatever it was that they were hiding.
Did everyone know Harry Potter had shared a kiss with Draco Malfoy?
"No one else knows anything." Ron said, almost as if he had heard Harry's wonders. "I told them to sleep outside because you had vomited all over the room and, due to everyone being bloody wasted, none of them thought of doing a simple cleaning spell."
No one knew. That was good.
"But we followed you." Hermione confessed. "During the party, you were very drunk and you and Draco were running, so we got worried and followed you two."
"Wait." Harry said, trying to piece it all together. "You followed us where?"
"Bathroom."
"Ha. Great." Harry said, sarcastically.
"We were worried about you! We thought you two would kill each other, not have a full on make out session!"
"Ron, keep it down!" Harry said, worried that someone would hear them.
"Sorry." Ron shifted to a lower voice. "After the kiss, Malfoy ran away and we got too busy being in shock that we ended up losing you from sight as well."
"Okay." Harry let that all sink in. "Okay, did you see anything else?
"Not really." Hermione said. "By the time we found you again, you were already going into the room with Draco."
"Why didn't you stop me?! He is my enemy, for God's sake!"
"We thought so too, but we are not the ones who forced his tongue down your damn mouth!" Ron said, way too loud.
"RON, KEEP IT DOWN!" Harry and Hermione said in unison.
"Sorry." Ron said, his cheeks a bit flushed.
"Still, I don't understand why you didn't talk some sense into me."
The golden trio was quiet for a moment.
"You looked really happy." Hermione said, letting out what had been on her mind since the previous night.
"What?" Harry said, confused.
"You two were laughing, for Merlin's sake!"
"It could have been from desperation! I could have been tortured, murdered, kidnapped, cast with some kind of dangerous spell, beaten to death, choked to death..."
"But you weren't." Hermione interrupted.
"Not to death, at least." Ron added, while his friends frowned.
"Very funny. I will be leaving now."
"Wait!" Hermione said. "I'm not saying that we are suddenly fond of Malfoy, but you should talk to him."
"And if he does anything to hurt you, we'll be there in a second." Ron said.
"Thanks. I don't know how you guys are so calm about all of this insanity." Harry said.
"Still in shock, I believe." Ron said.
"Also" Hermione began, a hesitant tone taking over her voice. "If you ever want to talk about the fact that Malfoy is, you know..."
"A boy?" Harry said, his heart a bit tighter than usual.
"Yeah. You know that we love you, right? A lot?"
"Even if you have extremely questionable dating choices." Ron added.
Harry smiled.
"I love you guys." He said as he started walking away. "And I'm not dating Malfoy!
As if on cue, Harry spotted Draco leaving a classroom nearby. Luckily, he was alone.
"Roger that, Potter." The blonde said.
"Fuck off, Malfoy."
"Gladly."
Happy. Hermione said he looked happy.
What the fuck was he on that night?
