Ginas POV
Matt & I were sitting on the couch watching Netflix. I got a message from Nicole.
Nicole✨🔥: Hey can Jack&I come over for a little until his mom comes to get us?
To Nicole✨🔥: Yeah of course.
"Jack and Nicole are going to come over for a little, they are waiting for Jack's mom I guess." I said to Matthew as he nodded his head. Matthew and I decided to order and pizza and wait for them to come. I ran upstairs to change as Matthew ordered the pizza. I put on some joggers and a tshirt.
I went back downstairs and sat on the couch. 5 minutes later The pizza came and after I paid, Cameron pulled in the driveway dropping Nicole and Jack off. "Hey guys" Jack said giving Matt & I a hug. Nicole doing the same.
"This spring break has been rough." I say sitting on the couch next to Nicole. "Yeah" Jack says. "How are you feeling man" Matthew says to Jack. "I'm better" Jack says laughing softly. "Do you know who did it?" I ask Jack. "No.." Jack says. "oh" I say back. "Are y'all ready to go back next week?" Matt says. "No!" We all tell back at him. Matthew laughs and Jack go's to the kitchen.
I follow him. He looks pretty upset about something. Should I ask him? "Jack? You okay?" I ask him. "Yeah." He said to me. "No your not, What's wrong?" I say. "I've been worried about Nicole, I don't know if she told you this. She cuts herself. I found out last night and I-" I cut him off. "Jack I-I didn't know she cut herself. But whatever it is help her through it. I'll help her and Matt will help her too. Don't give up on her." I say pulling him into a hug.
We walk back into the living room. I pull Matthew aside to talk to him. "Did you know Nicole cuts herself?" No but she's in the bathroom now and she looked pretty upset when she walked up there so you'd better check on he-" I cut him off. "Jack go check on Nicole she's in the bathroom." I say as he gets off the couch and walks upstairs. "Can we help her through this she's my bestfriend I don't want to have anything bad happen to her." I say looking at Matthew. "Yes of course babe" Matthew says and gives me a hug.
Jack came downstairs with a worried look on his face. "Jack.. What's wrong?" Matt says to him. "Sh-She's gone" Jack says and sits on the stairs. "What do you mean she's gone" I say running over to him. "She's not anywhere upstairs." Jack says. "I'll call her." I say and grab my phone off the couch.
I called Nicole. It rang 3 times and she didn't pick up. "She's not answering we have to look for her." I say. "Matt grab your keys." I say as we run out the door. Matt unlocked the doors I got in the front with Matt and Jack in the back. "We'll go to the school first I'll keep calling her until she picks up. I called nicole 3 times until she picked up. "She answered guys hangon pull over Matt." I say.
PHONE CALL
N-Nicole G-Gina
G-Where are you?!
N-I'm at the lake.
"She's at the lake go now" I say to Matt.
G-Why'd you leave? You had us worried.
N-I'm done with life. I just wanna leave... Forever.
G-No! Don't do anything were on our way to get you.
END OF CALL
The call ended. What was Nicole doing. I hope she doesn't do anything stupid. "The call ended" I say while tears run down my face. "Oh no.." Matt said. "We're here.. Do you see her" Matt says to me. "Yeah! Right there stop the car." I say to Matt. The car stopped I got out and ran to her. I grabbed her arm and pulled her into a hug. Tears running down both of our faces and she cried so hard into my shoulder. "Don't ever do that again you scared me to death." I say crying. "I-I'm sorry, I'm such a mistake." She says pulling away from the hug. "No your not." I say. "Nicole are you okay?!" Matt says pulling her into a hug. I can't help but smile. "Yes Matthew thank you." She says. "Where's Jack?" She says looking at me. "In the car" I say as she runs to the car. "Matthew I was so scared." I say and hug him while I'm still crying. "She's fine babe" He says. "I know but she's my bestfriend and I can't let anything happen to her." I say to him. "I know how you feel." He says pulling away and grabbing my hand.
We walked to the car and got in. Jack and Nicole were in the back sitting
in silence. The rest of the car ride home was silent. We got to Matts house. Jack and Nicole slept in the guest room, well my room. Matt and I slept in his room. I got in bed with Matt and fell asleep quickly. Today was very long. I just wanted to sleep forever at this point.
