"Fuckin' Meeks, fuckin'- stupid- shit!" Stu kicked the coffee table. "Cool it, asswipe. Meeks isn't a problem," Billy rolled his eyes while sharpening his buck knife.
"He's at her place as we speak, how the hell are we supposed to move with this- suffocating lack of opportunity!?" Stu exclaimed. Y/n ended up inviting Randy to her place because she was scared. Billy looked at Stu. He was... profiling his behavior. He had a gift for it. It's how he got shit done.
Something felt off about Stu. "Stu, is there something else you want to tell me? About y/n?" Billy stared harshly. Stu paused. "No. Why?" Stu's eyebrows furrowed. "You guys were really close before you and Casey split... so, I'm gonna ask again, is there. Something. You want to tell me," Billy glared. He'd seen y/n and Stu's passing glances after the split, and some type of longing in their eyes.
"Wh- I- no! No. There's nothing," Stu nervously told us. Billy continued to stare Stu down while checking how sharp his knife was after setting the whetstone to the side.
"You saying that to save your ass? Cause if there is something- ANYTHING that I'm missing that could jeopardize this- well, you know what we're risking," Billy wiped his knife, cleaning off the excess metal particles. Stu waited a beat to think. "Well... I-I guess. Yeah- yeah there is something..." Stu look down. "Well, start talking. I've got all the time in the world, pal," Billy's poker face had Stu nervous.
"Uh, after me and Casey split. Well- the night I found out she was cheating and I dumped her cheating, slutty, bitch ass, I wasn't thinking straight. I got drunk and ended up in y/n's bed..."
God my head is pounding. I look around- wait... this isn't my house, these aren't my pants! Shit!
"Good morning, sleepyhead," y/n!? She was carrying a tray. She sets it down on my lap. Breakfast. "Don't worry, my mom was asleep when you showed up and left an hour ago," no, I am definitely worrying.
"What-what happened?" I ask, worried I might've fucked up my friendship with her. Casey was protective of y/n and didn't let me meet her till 3 weeks into our relationship.
Something about y/n being sensitive. Apparently they'd been friends since before the womb.
"Hm?" She tilted her head. Shit. That's too cute! "What did I, uh... do?" I asked finally.
"Well, not sure what happened before you ended up on my doorstep, but when I saw you, you were crying. I opened the door and smelled alcohol and I couldn't just let you go off drunk and do something stupid.
You were soaked as well. Drenched. So I brought you in and gave you sweatpants. Surprisingly you got into them.
Then I got you to drink some water. You kept rambling about random things and crying..." she explained, shaking two Advils out of a bottle for me. Am I... in the clear?
"Anything else?" I asked, just making sure. "Uhm... no, not really. I just made sure you got to sleep and went to the couch...," I almost sighed with relief at her words. "I'm so sorry I took your bed," I tell her sincerely. "Nah, it's cool. You're really funny when you're drunk," she giggles.
"Oh god, what did I do?" I playfully sigh. "You're just... really affectionate, that's all. When I was making sure you'd go to sleep, you demanded to hold my hand," she giggles, walking over to her closet. "Shit. I'm so sorry,"

"After that, we'd have movie nights all the time. We eventually were cuddle buddies, I guess. We never dated or did anything except cuddle because she didn't want to hurt Casey. She's too good for her own wellbeing. Probably what Casey meant by "sensitive'" Stu explained.
Billy was dead faced. Expressionless. Attempting to process whatever bullshit he'd just heard.
"That's why you wanted me to gank her. That's why you wanted to do the call! Because you couldn't bring yourself to kill her!" Billy was on the verge of laughing. "Not cause you were "tired" from killing Orth and Becker, but because you knew you couldn't kill her! HAHAHAHA," He was now laughing.
Stu felt ashamed. All he wanted was Billy's approval. He was sickeningly dependent on it. He kept his head low. Billy gets up and presses the flat side of his blade under Stu's chin, forcing him to look up, his crystal blue eyes almost teary. "Don't worry your pretty little face. You'll kill her, you will. Cause that's what I want you to do. Okay?" He said in a sickly sweet voice.
At the end of the day, Stu knew he couldn't do it.
