Kay's POV
I sit on the bus as close to my sister as possible. You might think I'm like, 6, but I'm not. I'm just extremely shy. Today is our first day of our junior year of high school. It's a new school, but not just ANY high school. This is Fandom High. The school of a fangirl. My fandoms are Divergent and The Hunger Games. I do admit, Emily has a much better sense of style than I do but I still know what I should and shouldn't wear. Today I'm wearing my Katniss inspired lazy day outfit. It's a Hunger Games Mockingjay tank top with black jeans, a black and red plaid long sleeved shirt, my "Be Brave" Divergent inspired bracelet, black high top Converses and my hair in a messy side braid. All weekend my sister has been peering over my shoulder to see what I'm reading. It's a guide on how to get friends. So far it's been useless. We went shopping yesterday with our mom so my lunch is perfect. A turkey, cheese, mayo and lettuce sandwich, a honey crisp apple, ice water and an energy bar.
My sister, Emily Ann Carson, was adopted from her drunken father at the age of 7. I'm only a month and a half younger than her so we get along quite well, other than the fact that I'm super stubborn and she tries to tell me what I should do. (You didn't hear this from me but, I'm the smarter one out of the both of us) She has been the best sister I could ask for and now I'm not even sitting by her. The bus picks up another couple kids and the most beautiful creature I've ever laid eyes on. Lands in my seat.
His name is Caleb. I have a feeling I'm going to love Fandom High School.Hey Fangirl Friends!! I hope you're enjoying this story as much as I am!
