Jessi pov:

"W-wait for me", I yelled at Alice as she was running towards the fence to climb over it and escape this hellhole.

"Alice!", I screamed again and she finally stopped in her tracks and turned her head to look at me , I expected her to smile or laugh at me , telling me to run faster, but her face was expressionless as she looked back at me.

I looked at her confused and she sighed, "Alice tell me what's wrong", I asked , I could sense that something was wrong judging by the look that she was giving me.

"Alice tell me what's wro-", I tried again but she interrupted me before I could finish."Go back", she said and I frowned.

"W-what do you mean, you said that we'd escape tonight, TOGETHER!", I screamed at her and she shook her head."I'm sorry, but it won't work out", she said and my breathing fastened.

"What do you mean?!?", I questioned and she looked down , avoiding my gaze.

"It's com-", she tried to finish but we were interrupted by male voices and when she heard them , she grabbed into the fence and started climbing, so I also ran to the fence.

"Hey , get back here!", I heard the voices scream , so I picked up my pace and saw that Alice was already at the other side.

When I was finally in front of the fence, I wanted to start climbing, but I felt a strong hand pulling me back by my sweater, and I flew back and landed on my behind, I looked up to see a chubby man that looked down at me angrily. I tried getting out of the man's grip , but he was way bigger and stronger than me  so I looked back at the fence and looked direct into Alice's eyes.

"Help me Alice", I whispered and I knew that she heard it by the way she gulped and took a deep breathe in , but she didn't move a muscle, she didn't try to help me.

The man lifted me up aggressively and started dragging me back inside to the orphanage, but I started biting and scratching him and screamed. He cursed at me and hit me in the face so that I could stop attacking him , but I didn't stop , I kept fighting.

He gripped my arms into a painful grip and I let out a cry ,and when I couldn't do anything, I looked up back to the fence to see Alice still hiding behind it.

"T-take me with you", I said as the tears started to stream down my face.

"TAKE ME WITH YOU ALICE!",I screamed louder and I saw her standing up and running away , she ran away from me , she ignored me after everything I did for her .

"ALICE!", I screamed as her figure moved further away, not even looking back at me.

The man dragged me into the building we were sent to since our mom passed, it could only be described as hell and I got a huge beating for trying to escape and letting my sister escape.

I was left at that place, without the only person I talked to, I was lonely and miserable without her, the other children at that place picked on me more than usual since older sister wasn't there to protect me.

But a few months later I was lucky enough to get out of that place, and when I ran away from that hellhole , I felt free, I felt new, but little did know how hard it was for a 14 year old boy to be out there on the streets.

I starved for days and walked around the city , not knowing where to go , or what to do.

Since I was a small boy that lived on the streets, a lot of men took advantage of me since I didn't know how to fight at that time, and there were times when I somehow managed to get out of their grip and escape ... but other times, I wasn't as lucky.
