Request: Anonymous asked: #valentine2023 "Get your own human plaything!" Dwayne (The Lost boys) x reader said to another member of the gang who is teasing reader? Thanks! 

Paul and Marko erupted into laughter as you realised what they had meant with their teasing. They ran off ahead into the darkness still giggling like hyenas as they got far enough away to blend into the darkness.

"That's not funny!" You complained. Your shout was met with nothing but another round of giggling and laughing. You could just make them out as they emerged from the dark patch and headed towards the bright lights of the boardwalk. You cringed as you suddenly came out of the dark and the blinding lights of the boardwalk came into view. Dwayne pulled up along the dirt road running adjacent to the way you had been walking.

"Leave (Y/N) alone!" Dwayne insisted as he let Laddie hop off the back of his bike. While Paul and Marko came back and started playfully bickering with Dwayne, you watched Laddie, hurrying towards Star at the entrance of the boardwalk.

"Get your own human plaything!" Dwayne said and you turned back to him. Paul rolled his eyes as he and Marko skulked off.

"Thanks." You muttered. He grinned and shrugged as he leaned back in his seat.

"Well if someone hadn't said something they'd keep that up all night. Want a ride the rest of the way?" He smiled and helped you up onto the back of his bike, letting you wrap your arms around him. He didn't bother kicking it into life as the boardwalk was only a few minutes away and he could roll the bike down to where the others were waiting.

"Are you coming on any of the rides? I promised Laddie we'd go on that one that spins really fast." You asked as you hopped off and he helped you steady yourself.

"We're banned from the rides." He reminded you.

"So you're not going to go on them?" You asked and grinned at him when he smiled.

"I'll come with you but you better keep up this time or I'm letting the security guard catch you." He was leaning back a little, comfortably sitting on his bike as he waited for the others to stop messing around.

"You'd let them catch me?" You asked and pouted a little. He grinned and leaned closer to you.

"Absolutely. I'm saving my own skin." He chuckled when you huffed and shook your head playfully.

"Well... I guess that sucks for you because I'm so fast." You insisted. He grinned at you and met your gaze, holding it intimately.

"Oh really? You're that fast?" He continued.

"Oh yeah, I am. You'd never keep up." Dwayne looked away from you and over at the others who had found their bikes and headed over to him. When he looked back you had vanished. Even when he looked around he couldn't spot you.

"Nice try (Y/N)! We'll find you." He yelled and laughed when he spotted you running deeper into the boardwalk's crowd, glancing back with a smile.
