Chapter Description: Noah and Klaus have a conversation about his job. When it ends on a negative energy Noah's emotions unknowingly create a signal to others.
Noah walked carefully through the quiet forest. Klaus was visiting Marcel at the moment, giving him some needed alone time.
"Where are you headed," Void asked.
So much for actually enjoying that alone time.
"Don't know, don't care," Noah muttered.
"So you're wasting time," Void criticized.
"Void I don't know if you were this fucking annoying with my son or not but do me a favor," Noah said, turning around, "And shut the hell up. Okay? Thank you."
Void grumbled under his breath and retracted back into Noah's head.
After a while, Noah stopped at a tree to catch his breath. Surprisingly, having the power of Simargl doesn't give him the ability to have unlimited stamina. He licked his lips and leaned back. His alert went through the roof when he heard a rustling sound nearby. Noah stood up quickly as his eyes scanned the shrub around him. They stopped at seeing a black wolf staring at him nearby. Noah narrowed his eyes as they flashed purple. The wolf lifted its head higher, showing its yellow eyes more clearly. They were familiar to him, making Noah relax a great deal.
"Klaus," Noah said, stepping closer.
He saw the wolf morph into his husband. Noah smiled gently, taking off his jacket. He gave it to Klaus to cover his nakedness at least a little bit.
"Thanks, love," Klaus said.
"What are you doing out here," Noah asked.
"I should be asking you that," Klaus said, "Since when did you come out to the woods alone?"
"I don't know," Noah shrugged, "Needed some time to think a little."
"What about your job," Klaus asked.
"I quit."
Klaus froze and turned to face him.
"You fucking what," Klaus asked, tilting his head.
"I quit my job at the sheriff's office," Noah repeated.
"Why would you do that," Klaus asked, "You loved that job!"
"Not anymore," Noah said, "I got bored of it."
Klaus stared at him in horror. Noah noticed and sighed.
"What is it," Noah asked, "I could see the judgment in your eyes."
"Noah, are you feeling okay," Klaus asked.
"I'm fine," Noah said.
"Don't lie to me," Klaus said.
"Klaus, I'm fine," Noah said, "Trust me..."
"Is this because of Stiles..."
Noah stared Klaus down with an evil glare.
"Don't say his name," Noah said, shaking his head.
"Noah, it's okay," Klaus said, "You're still grieving. He's your son..."
"WAS," Noah shouted, "HE WAS MY SON AND HE'S DEAD! SO YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT, KLAUS?! I'M DEPRESSED AND ANGRY! I'M TIRED AND EXHAUSTED OF EVERYTHING REMINDING ME THAT MY FUCKING SON IS DEAD! STILES IS NOT COMING BACK! SO LEAVE IT THE FUCK ALONE!"
Noah panted as he watched Klaus stare at him without speaking. Finally, he lowered and licked his lips.
"You know what, Noah, I'm not going to yell back at you," Klaus said, "Or insult you or curse at you because I know you don't mean it. But maybe you should remember that you're not the only person who lost him. Some of us are grieving too. Some of us miss him and wished that maybe we would've never helped him control his powers. Maybe then he would've still been alive. But I guess that doesn't matter either."
"Klaus..."
Klaus shoved his jacket back in his hands and morphed into a wolf again, running off. Noah felt tears rush to his eyes and gritted his teeth. He screamed out of frustration, making the sky darken and thunder.
Lydia opened her eyes as she felt something tear into the universe. She lifted her head from the book of death and put on her jacket.
Lucifer gasped as he felt energy slam into his stomach, it made his wings fluff a bit more than usual.
"Noah," Lucifer whispered, leaving hell.
Castiel winched and covered his ears as Noah's scream reached him. Dean looked over.
"Cas?"
"Noah," Castiel said, getting up, "Something is wrong. Something is terribly wrong."
Sam got up with Dean as they raced to the car to drive to Beacon Hills.
Jack fell off his bed as Noah's scream echoed to him. He looked up at Stefan who came running to his room.
"Jack," Stefan asked, "You okay?"
"I need to Beacon Hills," Jack said, putting on his shoes, "I need to go now!"
Danny opened his eyes as he heard his dog barking frantically and scratching at the door. He opened the door and the dog raced outside.
"Jordan? Jordan, wait," Danny shouted, running after him.
Scott looked up as the energy hit him lighter than the rest. But it was still enough to make his eyes turn red and back again.
"Noah," Scott said, running out.
Thomas froze and looked up. He felt a familiar scream hit his ears. It echoed loudly in his bones and at that moment he got back a few of his memories.
"Dad," Thomas whispered, squinting his eyes.
He stood up, staring into the dark air.
"Thomas," Minho said, "You okay?"
"I... I remember him," Thomas said.
"Who," Minho asked.
"My dad," Thomas said, "I remember who my dad is."
"What's his name," Newt asked.
"Noah. His name is Noah Stilinski."
