Psst. Hey. It's time for more SAMS fanart. What if Eclipse WON?! in VRChat. I know it's been months since that episode came out, but I got hit with the motivation for it out of the left field. ^w^" And I'm happy with the results!

First up, the villain of the hour. Lord Eclipse, ruler of the new world and creator of "paradise."
I have seen quite a few interpretations of him already and I honestly love those way more, but I'm still happy with how mine turned out! Figuring out his eyes and his cape was a challenge, but the results were worth it.
For my design of Lord Eclipse, I wanted him to appear imposing, powerful and somewhat godly, since he obviously fancies himself as such. I also knew straight off the bat I wanted his body to be dark while his eyes and mouth popped out at ya. He definitely has a function where he can obscure his features completely so you can't read his expression, though.
The shapes of his halo aren't anything specific, but I did notice after the fact that the upper shapes look like devil horns. >:3 As for the item in his hand in the first picture, that's his modified Neuton Star! I didn't reference the one you see in the video, I just drew it from memory and added some detail because my memory was very blank. I like to imagine that in his new world, Eclipse has made his null sun the symbol for "the world of paradise."
For his cape, I just airbrushed it with the right colors to make it look fiery, then I added "noise" at a very large scale with Procreate's adjustments menue. (I also added some noise to his rays, but not a lot and at a smaller scale.) Lastly, all his colors were just taken from my normal Eclipse design! After all, I did want them to be cohesive in some fashion.

But that's not all! We have Lord Eclipse's servant, Sunrise. Poor Sun has had his memories of the old world and his old life completely wiped clean, so he only remembers waking up in the new world and his life as Eclipse's servant. As if that wasn't bad enough, it quickly becomes evident that Eclipse is abusing Sun to keep him in line and punish him for any mistakes he makes organizing Eclipse's history books in the library.
I wanted to take a page from star-beam on Youtube's book and dress Sun in a suit (but theirs is way, way better. x'D) and I did my best to make him look decently scuffed up. Not to an extreme, it wouldn't do for the Lord's servant to be in a shattered, withered state, but enough to show he's still being punished for any mistakes.
I also wanted his paint to look faded! If Eclipse doesn't care enough to allow Sun to repair surface damage, there's no way he'd care about Sun's paint growing dull. And it's been a hundred years since the start of the new world, there's no way it would remain intact after all this time. (It would probably be scrubbed completely clean, but I didn't want to just color him gray. /: ) I even added a yellow tint to his eyes, which have been blank white for ages now. There's no way he feels spirited enough to emote with those cute cerulean blues, after all...
And lastly, I put binds on his wrists and neck to make him stand out against the other dark world Sun's a little more. Obviously they're not full shackles, otherwise he wouldn't be able to work as well, but the message is there all the same.

But yeah, that's them! Both the solar animatronics of the darker timeline. I will admit that I still prefer other fans' interpretations of them both (like the aforementioned star-beam's as well as Shahhalo04's) but I am still very proud! And I hope you guys like them, too!
