Choking on the tears of pain and choking due to the fractured bones. HELP HELP, Nobella screamed. She couldn't feel her legs, she could feel. She was stuck on the rocks at the bottom of the cliff like how a fish gets stuck on the stones when it crashes on the rugged shore line. One of Nobella's legs was stuck between the boulders, and the other bent in a way that was supposed to be impossible for any mammal.
All Nobella can do is cry for help, or plead for an early death.
Hours went by, the poor child was still alive. Her voice disappeared after an hour, all she could do was breathe a heavy breath. Until someone came in the blurry vision of our Genasi.
"It will not end here," the figure states as they place their hand upon Nobella's swollen, bleeding head. The figure attempted to lift her out of the rocks, but the boulders fell and it grew tighter.
Nobella began to plead for the entity to do anything in their power. "Please," she would scream. Until a flash of metal shimmered as the figure unsheathed a blade. Only the screams of little Nobella could be heard through the forest that dreadful, timeless night.Waking up, she heard running water and children laughing. Nobella felt her chest, it was breathing normally again. She let out a soft sigh, maybe it was a dream? When she noticed the wooden floor opposed to the stone back at the orphanage, the symbols of Titania were nowhere to be seen. Only symbols of nature and open windows. The bed was soft, a far cry from what Nobella slept on before. After she thought everything went back to normal, her legs still cannot be felt. In fact, this felt different. Nobella began to touch her legs tenderly, as if to see if it was sore. But she felt below the knee joint, nothing. It was bandages, nothing but bloodied bandages. She began to scream, when she threw off the blankets. Her breath became heavy and rapid, the door busted open as women dressed in monk robes came in.
“Calm yourself, child,” The woman demanded, “Listen to me, calm yourself!”
Nobella didn't realize but her eyes flooded, the wetness rolled down her cheeks.
