"Huh?"

All that I mutter. I can't grasp the words he said yet. Is he tricking me?

"Stop it!" I shout and he seems surprised.

"What's wrong with you?" he raises one brow. He looks confused. Suddenly, my cheeks feel warm.

"You're blushing and it creeps me out, you know," he states the obvious. Oh my... it's mortifying!

"Huh? I'm not, of course, I'm not you idiot!" I yell at him.

"Whatever. I'm taking this trash out," he picks up the bag and proceeds to the back door. I'm still standing and not moving an inch from my position. I don't know if I'm feeling nervous or upset. It's mixed emotions.

I came back to my senses and go to where Chocho is with pouty lips. She is confused about why I have such a face.

"I'm guessing you got into a fight with that idiot," she smirks.

"He's annoying, I can't withstand his stubbornness and arrogance," I try to keep myself calm.

"Tsk, just help me clean the tables so we can go and get some rest," she tells me and helps her.

"Thanks for your hard work, Shinki. You can now go home and rest," I hear the boss talk to him.

"Good night, Mister" he responds and leaves the old man and did not even glimpse at us or say goodbye. That's how rude he is but it does not matter to us anyway.

"Girls, that's enough for today. You go home now and get rest too," he shouts at us and we nod simultaneously at him.

We say our farewell to him and leave. It's a usual tiring day. Since that idiot started working with us, the store has gained more and more customers. Girls find him cute even in that store outfit.

"What are you thinking, Sarada?" Chocho calls me. I did not notice that I was drowned in my thoughts and it did not escape Chocho's Sherlock eyes.

"Huh? Nothing. I was thinking about the school's Annual Sports and Cultural Fest," I lie. I think she will buy it.

"Oh, can you give yourself a break? We just got off from work and now you're thinking about that? Does not your brain rest too?" she smirks and looks tired and most of all hungry. She will complain about it soon.

"My stomach is grumbling like thunder," as I expected.

"Let's eat in the near restaurant," I suggested to her and she did not say a word to me. I think that is what hunger can do to Chocho.

We stopped by the nearest restaurant and after dinner, we head home. Chocho's already asleep she must be very exhausted from work.

I take out a notebook and pen and decided to draft my plan for the upcoming Sport and Cultural Fest. It's past ten in the evening but I find it hard to fall asleep. I hope by doing this makes me fall asleep faster.

Suddenly, I feel my eyes tire and the moment I've been waiting for a while and fall asleep.

Chocho's alarm blusters all over the room and results in her tumbling to the floor from her bed.

"Aww... Damn it!" she mutters faintly and still feeling sleepy.

"Your alarm is too loud," I complain and get up and settle down.

She turns it off and moves her hands to her face. She tries to open her still-weak eyes and constantly blinks them.

She still looks sleepy yet she gets up and proceeds to the bathroom to take a shower. I remain sitting on my bed waiting for my turn after she is finished.
