Chapter 3: Confused

Zayn’s POV         

          “Bye Zayn”, “Bye Annie”, I said as we hung up. Wow, Annie and I had always been so comfortable around each other, and all of the sudden it was awkward talking to her. Did I fancy her? No Zayn, stop, Annie is your best friend not you crush.

       The house was pretty quiet, Harry was napping, Niall was of course eating, and Louis…“SUPAAAMAAAAN!!!”, Louis screamed snapping me out of my thoughts, ‘BANG!’, “LOUIS!! "I’M GONNA KILL YOU! THAT HURT!!”, I heard Harry scream, I’m guessing Lou jumped on Harry like “Superman” while Harry was sleeping. “But Hazza! I love you!” Louis was still trying to be playful, but Harry definitely was NOT, “GET OUT OF MY ROOOOOOOM!” Harry said as if he was an angry zombie. Louis and Harry had a sort of ‘love hate’ relationship, Louis loves Harry and Harry hates Louis, simple as that.

             “So, how did it go? Did you tell her how you feel?” Liam said in a soft tone as he sat next to me on the sofa, “What are you talking about?” I snapped back, “I don’t feel anything between her and I!” Oh crap, Liam knows I’m lying, “C’mon man, we all saw you and her at the mall.” He said “Was it that obvious?” I ask him concerned, “Well obviously not for Harry, he totally fancies her.” Said Liam with a sympathetic look on his face, I sink and say “I just don’t know if it’s real, Annie has been my best friend my entire life, so is this just me being excited to see her, or do I really like her? So I guess it’s not really my place to tell Harry he can’t like her”. Gosh, I’m so confused

           “Well I think you should invite her over, and see if she acts as awkward as you do around her, then you’ll know” Liam said playfully, I punched him in the arm and we got up to go the kitchen to get some food when we saw Niall stuffing his face with MY food. “Niall!” I scolded him, “Sorry! Is this yours?” Niall said , but I know he knows it’s my food, “YES! And you know that!”. “Oops! Sorry mate.” Niall said, pretending to be sorry.

          “Whatever, I’ll order more food”, I said, but when I went to grab my iphone, it was gone, but then I heard Liam talking on it “Yes, is this Annie? Would you like to come over and watch a movie with us? Zayn would LOVE it!” Liam sais, he is obviously talking to Annie, “Liam! Stop!” I said grabbing the phone from him, but he had already hung up, “She is coming over in half and hour.”   “Liam! No! You can’t just invite her over without asking me!” I said with anger in my voice, “How do you know I don’t like her”, said Liam with a sarcastic voice, “Yep, like you would just leave your fiancé, Danielle.” I said, totally not believing him “True, yeah I just invited her over so you and Harry can battle it out.”  Liam gives me an evil grin.

“Who’s coming over? Annie? When?” said Harry peeking his head down the stairs, suddenly being awake, “In half an hour, so you better hop in the shower cause you smell mate!” Liam shouted up the stairs as Harry ran to “get ready”. “Zayn, I know you want to go change and put on somecologne, so just go”, Liam said trying to pretend like he was keeping some sort of secret. “Yeah Yeah, I’m going.” I said, I was secretly really excited and nervous for Annie to come over.
