Chapter 1: Missing You

" And live while we're young " Zayns voice ends that song so perfect! I thought as the song ended.

"and that was One Direction with 'Live While We're Young'". The voice boomed out of the radio

snapping me out of my thoughts, Zayn had always been my best friend, so at first it was hard to

think of him as an international popstar, but after an entire year of hearing him on the radio

hundreds of times and seeing girls obsess over him and the rest of the band, I kind of got used to

it.  "Annie! It's time to go!" my older sister Jessica shouted as I finished folding my laundry,

"Coming!" I shouted back grabbing my favorite, white over the shoulder purse and throwing a bobby

pin in my hair to keep my bangs out of my face, we were heading to the mall to find her the perfect

bikini for her and her friend Morgan's vacation to Cancun they decided they would take when the

both turned 18. As we arrived at the mall downtown, Jessica was already squealing with

excitement, she and morgan had been waiting for this Vacation since they were 8 years old. As we

were looking through the swimsuits and the department store, I saw that the shop across the way

was Topman, I was having a flash back about when Zayn and I spent hours in that store because

he needed a new hat for a date he was going on that night but he took forever to pick which one he

wanted, when I realized there was a tear running down my cheek, I quickly wiped it away and told

Jessica I was going to pop into Topman for a chat with the owner who was a dear friend of mine.

She said okay and i walked over to the shop still trying to fight back the tears. When I stepped in, I

heard some boys in the back trying to pick out what sounded like a hat, which only made it worse.

As the owner and I caught up about what had been happening in the shop, the boys who I heard

earlier were ready to check out, because one of them said "excuse me?", as I stepped back to let

them through, something caught my eye, "Zayn?!", I exclaimed a bit too loud, the boy turned around,

"Annie?!". Before I had a chance to say anything back he grabbed me in the biggest hug I had ever

had, as he let me out of his arms I jumped at the chance to ask him when he got back from his tour

with the boys. He said he got back yesterday, but when he came over to my house I had moved. "oh

my gosh! I completely forgot! I moved!" I said feeling guilty, he told me it wasn't a big deal but that he

was glad he saw me here. We got caught up in conversation as we walked around the mall, we

had so much to talk about, well he had so much to talk about, he talked about the tour and their

fans and how much he missed me, which I have to admit made me blush! When I looked down at

my phone I realized how fast time can go, it had been two hours and I had 8 missed calls from

Jessica! "oh my gosh! Jessica! She is probably going crazy looking for me! I have to go!" I had time

to exchange numbers with all of the boys before I ran off to call Jessica!
