I spent my shift working my ass off running labs and seeing patients and being as helpful as i can be I had a few close calls today but thankfully didn't lose anyone thank god as I don't want have to deal with that today but finally it is time for lunch so I had down to the café for my lunch i get a cup of tea with 3 sugars and a chicken sandwich with an apple and as i sit down I'm just by conrad "you've been looking really stressed today ali I'm really worried about you what's going on "as conrad touches my arm to try to comfort me looking very concerned " come on conrad its... its just the job come on you of all people know how stressful it can be" I answer quickly trying to avoid the question but really pissed conrad off I can see him getting more angry by the second

I feel myself wanting to trust conrad but i just cant , I've only known him a week and I don't want to tell him its just too deep, like what if he uses this against me in the future
" I'm sorry conrad but I just cant I don't trust you enough to tell you , ill be fine okay its just been quite a day" before I even have a chance to finish conrad storms out and slams the door and here I was trying to get on his good side guess that failed
I finish my shift and conrad barley looks at me i just see anger in his eyes and I don't understand why
