? Where Am I ?

Chaos. You woke up, to absolute, hell on earth. Without even knowing the country or town you resided in currently, you got up from the snowy grounds. Your legs hurt, as if you'd just run marathons back to back. For some reason though, you couldn't remember anything from the few days prior to today. Your headache didn't help any, but that had to be ignored. Right in front of your very eyes,

A beast unlike any other.

A voice over an intercom said some odd warning, from a voice you didn't recognize.

"Everyone into your homes! Lock your doors, barricade your windows, hide your children! The Lycans are loose!"

'So, lycans? What the hell is a lycan?? Like the werewolf myths???' Your mind couldn't help the odd connections between the two, but before you could even doubt it, one was right in front of you. Suddenly, a fear unlike any other took over your body, your body froze for a second, but as he- or rather, it, began to approach, you ran. What else were you gonna do? Let it kill you? The smell of blood was everywhere, and the bodies made you want to throw up. Your clothes were a stark contrast to everyone else around you, but they were of no importance to you right now. You needed to hide, immediately.

As you ran on your already tired legs, an open door with a quiet interior caught your eye. Running inside and blocking the exit, you knew you had made it; for now at least. The screams for mercy from a being called 'Mother Miranda' intrigued you, but you hadn't a clue who that was. You began to barricade the home, and the stench of human blood was disgustingly strong in this house, but hopefully it would cover the scent of your living flesh. If they could even smell people anyway. When you finished covering any openings of this run down home, your muscles slowly relaxed. An overwhelming exhaustion overcame you, and you couldn't help but stumble over to the rickety, and somewhat uncomfortable bed. In no time, you had passed out again in this foreign village.

If only you'd noticed the pair of eyes peeking through a crack in between some of the furniture you'd covered the windows with.

(Short Chapter to begin with, but this is just to show you where it all began anyway. also the person in the picture is meant to be you!)
