Julius-

I worked steadily as I quietly focused on fixing my clocks when I couldn't help but notice (Y/N) passing my desk for at least the 20th time now. Curious, I decided to glance up every now and then to figure out what on Earth she was up to. She would cross the room with a pencil and paper in hand, find a spontaneous space, then jot something down on the paper. This routine continued until I finally got up from my desk, walked over to her from behind, then swiped her project out of her hands.

She jumped with sudden surprise than turned towards me flustered "J-Julius! G-Give that back!" She tried reaching for it, but I was too tall compared to her.

I ignored her cries and read aloud, "Two bars soap, Three bags coffee beans, Milk, Potatoes, Cleaning supplies... What is this (Y/N)?"

She blushed and looked away, "It's nothing." She said, playing dumb.

I looked at it "Well, to me it looks like something... Is it a shopping list?"

She flinched, then reacted with a sudden jump that caught me off guard, which aloud her to take back her list. She held it close to her chest, "So what if it is? I just thought I'd go shopping for some necessities while you're working. I know you won't let me touch your clocks, so I wanted to help in some way."

I sighed, "You didn't have to-"

"I knew you'd say something like that. Look, Julius, I'm not doing this because I need to, I'm doing this because I care about you're well-being. So let me do this, ok?" She smiled.

I look at her smile as well as the earnest look in her eyes. "Fine, do as you wish." Damn, that sounded differently in my head. Now she thinks I'm a heartless jerk.

"Oh ok." She says, opening the door, but right before she could go anywhere, I stop her by putting my hand on her head, "Don't go dashing into danger. Be careful, aright? I'd like to see you non-harmed when you return."

She smiled weirdly, "Alright, thanks Julius." She walks out the door and waves, "I'll be back before you know it!"

When she's out of my view, I return back to my desk and sit. Staring off into nowhere, I recalled the memory of her smile and how she cared for something as silly as my health. I mean couldn't I just be replaced? I took my glasses off then placed my hands on my face, but then jerked back almost immediately. My face... was hot. Did that mean I was blushing? I cover my face again with a sigh. "What is that girl doing to me?"
