Full description:
Billie Presley isn't exactly the luckiest woman when it comes to relationships. When she decides to try a new dating app, she scores a date after three months, but her "match" isn't what she expected... She only stays out of politeness even though she's uncomfortable and would just like to leave...
That is, until an attractive stranger comes in, changing all cards on deck...

This is an entry for the Open Novella Contest 2023. It's based on prompt #39: "On a blind date with a complete mismatch, you're increasingly uncomfortable but too polite to leave. Then, an attractive stranger comes over and gives you an out." There are chances I might only follow loosely this prompt as, in my opinion, it leaves open room for different interpretations.

Billie Presley
A young woman who doesn't do well in terms of dating and relationships. Things might change when she tries a new dating app...
Jake Ellis
A fascinating stranger who is still looking for his ideal woman... His search might be over soon...
David Hyatt
Like Billie, he isn't very lucky at dates. Everytime he's around women, he's uncomfortable. He hopes he can overcome this issue
Claire Turnage
Billie's roommate. Unlike her, she can score dates easily, but isn't satisfied and feels she can do a lot better with men
