I was downstairs making breakfast for Leilani. She tossed and turned all night. I'm guessing that the conversation we had last night brought back very bad memories and trauma. Because usually she sleeps perfectly fine all night. I decided to make her some banana muffins. I also cut her up some fruits and made her some waffles and bacon and eggs.

Once I was done with that. I made her some iced coffee with almond milk. I was finishing up with everything when I felt arms wrap around me. "Good morning Mi Amor." I turn around looking down at her. Her curls were all over the place and tangled. "Are you okay today? I made you breakfast." I kissed her forehead.

She didn't say anything. "Mi Amor. Talk to me." I gently grabbed her chin and made her look at me. "I-I thought.... You left me... after what I told you." Her voice was quiet. "I'm not leaving you. I just simply came down her to make you breakfast, and then, I was going to come back to you." I kiss her forehead and then her nose.

She nodded and hugged me tightly. I wrap my arms around her. Holding her close to me. "I'm never leaving you. You mean too much to me. I made a promise to you. I'm not breaking it." I reassured her.

I was i the room waiting for Leilani to get out the shower when the doorbell rung. I went downstairs and opened the door to see Noorie, Her bestfriend. "Goodmorning Noorie." I smiled. "Morning Roman. Is Lani awake?" She asked, walking inside. "Yes. She's in the shower at the moment." I state.

"Okay. Well I'll wait until she gets out then." She sat down on the couch. "Can I ask you something Noorie?" I sat down next you her. "Sure." She looks at me. "Does Leilani usually have trouble sleeping at night?" I question. "Sometimes. But only when her trauma haunts her. Why? Did something happen last night?" She looks at me worried.

"Last night we went to her parent's house for dinner. Her and her mom got into an argument, because she asked me how much she was paying me to be her boyfriend for the night. Then, after we left, we came home and she told me about her past.... And him." I said the last part with a bit of anger in my voice.

"She told you about him?" She looked at me with wide eyes. I nodded in response. "Holy shit. She's never told anyone about that. Only I knew." She said the last part quietly. "Has she ever thought about going to therapy?" I asked. "No... I tried to get her to go once, but she just brushed it off and kept telling me she was fine."

"She needs a therapist. It will really help her." I tell her. "Then talk to her about it. She might listen to you." She shrugs. "She might listen to who?" We both turn to see Leilani. "I'll talk to you about it later Mi Amor." I walk over to her and kiss her head. "I havea meeting to go to today. Do you want to come with me?" I ask.

"Sure." She looks up me and smiles. "Okay. we can leave whenever you're ready." I tell her. She nods and I head upstairs.

"Noorie I have a question." I sat beside my best friend. "Okay." She responded. "Do you think I made the wrong decision?" I ask quietly. "What do you mean Lani?" She looked at me confused. "Do you think it was dumb of me to become a stripper?" I asked. "You're mom mentioned it again huh?" She looked at me with sincere eyes.

I nodded. "No love. You did not make the wrong decision. You were only doing what you love. It's your life. Not hers. She cant dictate what you can and can't do." She tells me. "I just feel like if I would have done something else. Maybe she would actually be proud of me." I say quietly.

"Listen. As your mother, she should be proud of you no matter what you decide to do with your life. As long as your happy, she should be happy. But all moms aren't like that..... Sadly." When I was younger I used to wish that my mom was more like other girl's moms. But I always knew that wasn't going to happen.
