You're dessert after dinner
If said dessert was served
After I asked for the check,
My appetite had been curbed.Your name in my mouth
Has become too sweet now
No matter what I do
It can't, it won't be washed out.Every attempt to return
To sender, rejected
Cinnamon kiss sealed,
And signed with an EpiPen.You're rotting inside me
With how long you've lingered
Grabbing onto my teeth
With your phantom fingers.I've been begging my dentist
To drill you away,
To cap you, to clean you out
And I offer good payBut I don't have enough
To take away this sweet tooth
'Cause insurance doesn't cover
The cravings you give rise to.
