Jared knew he had a problem.

Fuck he was so well aware of it-

The only issue was it is one of those things that once you start, it's pretty difficult to stop.

You see, Jared swears he used to like food, more than like, he fucking loved it and he still isn't so sure about what made him suddenly hate it. It was like all of a sudden it lost all appeal to put in his body. He had always been on the thicker side, but he still saw himself as pretty attractive. That was until 5th grade and the kids started to get more mean.

So, if we're being honest, he saw why they were mocking him, after all, he was the chubby, smart, nerdy kid with thick glasses. What did he expect? To get accepted into a modeling agency? Still the bullying never truthfully ended, the childish aspect might stop, and no one will say it to your face (who is he kidding the hallways are shit) but it truly never stops. Don't even get started on social media and how it's affected bullying and mockery. But still he's the "Insanely cool Jared Kleinman" (now that he thinks about it he should really be "The Insanely insecure Jared Kleinman") he can't let their stupid, shitty insults get to him. After all he brought a few upon himself. For example, when someone "accidentally" outed Evan as bisexual Junior year; he was the one who strutted into school that Monday with a rainbow flag cape and is still known as the "Class Fag" to this day. That bullying was okay though! He was helping his best friend. Connor was also a really good friend to him; They had a little Squad that consisted off Alana, Zoe, Connor, Evan, and Jared. They all had some form of mental illness, Alana had high functioning anxiety, Zoe had ADHD, Connor had depression and IED, Evan with his social anxiety, and then there was Jared was probably the worst of them all, yet he never talked about any of his (his consisted of ADHD, depression, anxiety, Bulimia, self-harm, and was suicidal). Not that he was complaining about the groups "problems" it was actually quite comforting because they could all talk about it openly. Connor's IED has also gotten a lot better since they first became friends. Sure, he still has outbursts but they're not nearly as often.

Jared LOVED to use humor to hide his problems, and his group knows this. Every once in a while, they will remind if a joke is overly offensive or if he should lower his voice. (His ADHD makes him have poor volume control) Jared's parents aren't the best. Think about Homophobic, transphobic, don't believe in mental health, must raise the perfect straight A student, you have the right to hit your kids, type.

The squad had decided to on a lunch day, just Jared's luck. So, they went a all you can eat Chinese buffet. They group was being overly obnoxious, Connor and Evan got into an argument about whether Chinese or Japanese were better, and loud so when they started getting looks from the employees, they lowered the volume so they wouldn't get kicked out like last time.

Jared was eating until he got the feeling in the pit of his stomach. So what did he do? He got up and simply claimed he needed "to take a whiz" which earned a laugh from Alana and Connor and an eye roll from Zoe and Evan. He went towards the back of the restaurant to the two stall men's bathrooms, into the big stall and got on his knees (KiNkY)
