8- Homecoming

I woke up early because I was excited for homecoming. My freshman year I didn't go because I didn't have a date but this year I'm going with Jacob. At least I hope.

I checked my phone and saw 10 missed calls from Lexi. I call her back and she answers.

"Sleepy head, I'm outside your house and it's freezing so hurry up." she says.

As soon as I try to say something she hangs up the phone.

"fuck" I whisper before running downstairs to open the door.

I open the door and let her in

"Why are you here so early Lex, its literally 6 am." I say.

"I'm hear let me help you get ready." she says before running upstairs.

"Help me get ready or to see Leo.' I smirk before I start getting ready.

"Both but aren't u excited? she asks.

"I'm confused, excited for what.' I say while I start straightening my hair.

"Excited for Homecoming with Mr.Hottie." she says.

"Well, I don't even know if I'm going with him. He hasn't even asked me. And honestly, I haven't even talked to him since the day he left my house. Maybe he doesn't even want to go. I say starting to overthink whether or not he likes me or not.

"Relax, Hes probably going to ask you today at school, and if he doesn't u can go with me and Leo." she says.

"At least you have a date." I say.

"Yeah, with your brother." She smirks trying to annoy. me.

"Speaking of your brother, I'm going to see him, I'll be back." she winks at me before leaving.

We head to school. And when I meant head to school, I meant that I was third wheeling my best friend and brother. Gross.

I start walking to my first class and i saw Jacob and i went over to him.

I decided to dress up a little and do my makeup so maybe he'll ask me today.

"Hey babe." i say going up to him.

"Oh, hey beautiful, sorry I haven't called you yet." he says while he walks me to my next class.

"It's okay, so what are your plans today." I ask praying that he asks me to be his date.

"Probably just go to practice, I got practice for 3 hours today." he says.

And before I can say anything the bell rings.

"Shit I'm going to be late; I'll see you later." he says and hurries to his next class.

"Fuck" I whisper before heading into class.

We moved seats today and I sit by someone who I haven't talked to before. Thankfully it wasn't that same bitch that was pushing me around.

"Hey Adrianna." she says, and I act confused.

"Oh sorry, I'm Aurora, I got transferred into this class." she says and i sit down.

"Ah okay." I say and she nods.

"So, what are your plans for tonight?" she asks.

"I don't know yet; I was hoping my boyfriend would ask me to homecoming, but he hasn't yet, and I don't even know how to bring it up." I say.
